The point is lofting the ball around (the throw to Allen was also super dangerous) is a lot easier after you’ve already been fucking terrible all game and your run game is completely unstoppable. You can’t do this shit against an opponent who is looking to defend it.

He's not improving. I'm not giving up though. I feel he has a sense of the field and when he's not running for his life, he knows where the ball needs to go. He just can't get it there accurately.

I don't get the accuracy issues. You can't be the consensus #1 pick and play in a power 5 conference and not be accurate.

This is what a good rookie QB often looks like. Flashes of elite play but a lot of average or below average play. I think the accuracy is more that the game is moving too fast for him. That will go away with more experience.

At worst, he'll be a top 15 QB next year. I think he'll be top 10. The talent is undeniable. It would be nice if he didn't drop back thinking he had to start running like Vick out there just to have a play though.
