When is the last time Indiana was ranked ahead of Alabama?

Reversing a call because fans throw shit on the field isn’t a great precedent.

Georgia seems intent on forcing the refs to call targeting a few times a quarter.

It’s like when New England just committed PI on every play and dared the refs to call it.

I strongly dislike Kirby Smart.

Me and my granddad walk into a restaurant in Cal City. Granddad has his usual, eggs over easy, side of whiskey, and he starts staring at a guy down the way at the counter smoking the biggest cigar you ever saw. Granddad eyes light up and he starts laughing. He goes, "Hey Kanute, you look like an armpit with eyes." Granddad is laughing hysterically but this guy has no reaction. None. So everything settles down and we go about our business. "Kanute" pays his check, thanks Mildred, leaves her a quarter, walks over to Granddad and me, pulls off his wig and puts it on my head and walks out the door.

"bejeebus, Granddad, you can't sass Knute Rockne like that" I says, and Granddad says "Huh? you stupid little shit, that's my old foreman at the coal mine."

haha. Armpit with eyes. Granddad was a piece of work.

Nebraska, who lost 56-7 at Indiana last week, had OSU on the ropes, leading 17-14 in the 4th quarter. Lost 21-17. Great game.

Mizzou absolutely does suck.

8-0 Indiana. I don’t think I can wrap my mind around that statement yet.

They are a first rate second rate team.

They will be favored in every game from here on out. If they win out they have a coin flip shot at the 12 team playoff.

been a couple duds, but some great games as well.

Best part is that football is really good with my DVR remote fast forward feature. You press a button and it skips ahead 30 seconds. As long as no one is doing no huddle offense I basically go from snap to snap all game long. Can watch an entire 3.5 hour game in less than 45 minutes.

Georgia at the mercy of Carson Beck is a real shame.

Also, Florida playing a 450lb kid should violate some type of law.

How Miami gets to be fifth and Indiana will be probably still thirteenth I cannot fully understand.

My dad was a student at IU the last time they went to the Rose Bowl and is very closely following this team. Regardless of whether or not they make this new fangled playoff and get destroyed, it's been a fun season.

Iowa State losing helps IU.

Classic trap game, MSU goes up 10 right away. An IU team of yore would've folded, this one hangs 47 straight. Indiana football. 47 straight points. Don Fischer was giggling uncontrollably on the radio, I don't think he can believe what he is witnessing this year.

Couldn’t have gone much better for IU this weekend. It’ll be really interesting to see where they land on Tuesday’s rankings, I’m still unconvinced that the B1G will get four teams in even if Penn State and IU both finish with one loss.

Iowa football and their fans seem very content to finish every year at like 9-5 and going to the Outback Bowl. Kirk Ferentz makes $7million a year and can coach there as long as he wants. Is there a better job to have than that?

Iowa plays 14 games a year?????

You think Iowa should be up there year in and year out with Alabama and Ohio State? Would love to hear the rationale for that.

I guess Iowa should just cycle through a new coach every 4 years like Georgia Tech, Virginia, Texas Tech, etc. has worked great for those schools.

Iowa has a great fan base that understands who they are and what reasonable expectations are. Probably the reason why Iowa has had a grand total of two head coaches since Jimmy fucking Carter was president.
