The Bears picked Eberflus over Quinn, the choice made very little sense at the time and makes even less sense now as you see the massive gulf in coaching talent between them.

Eberflus looks like he needs a coaching babysitter who has to frequently re-orient him, or just turn off his headset and let an intern enter the scenario into the computer and have AI give the most logical play, tell the OC what to run, and then just say, "aww shucks Matt, what a bad time for your headset to go out". You would save time outs, manage the clock better, and likely get play calls with a much higher probability of success than you get from Eberflus or the OC, as AI would factor in the inability of certain guys on the o line to run plays and would be free of the irrational belief that Poles and Eberflus have in guys they choose to start.

Eberflus has serious limitations as a HC that will lose you games, he ain't getting any better and you may as well cut bait now as he will continue to lose you games. The NFL is far too competitive to have a HC that is going to lose you 1-2 games each year because he cannot figure out how to manage the clock and his time outs.

Very true and the veterans on the team are grumbling.

Well doesn't THAT warrant a one-game suspension? I never want to hear the HITS principle again.

Not really.

I for one am shocked that Glazer was full of shit.

Not shocked that Hawger ran with the bait.

Tend to agree, but that hasn't stopped Andy Reid or Mike McCarthy from staying in the league as HC for 2 decades+.

Not really.

That makes it better.

Tanking for Cooper Flagg Patriots in Soldier Field next Sunday @ high noon:

Bears currently -6.5 -330. Probably jump on that before it goes over a TD.

Not sure what kinda offense NE running, but when you have a total of 15 yards rushing outside QB runs/scrambles, daguff are you doing

Image

Patriots lost in OT after Titans won the coin flip and Maya Rudolph led Tennessee into FG range throwing exactly 1 complete pass vs 9 runs. Run, run, run all over the Patriots defense next week and let Drake Maye do what Drake Maye do: game ended when 2 plays into their drive after the Titans OT FG Drake Maye channeled his inner Rex Grossman, went deep and threw his 2nd completion of the game to Amani Hooker,

Are we in "fire the o-line coach" sacrificial lamb territory or will Flus be able to ride out the injury excuse before he or someone under him has to go?

 He most certainly was full of shit. He made it seem like the guy took his ball and went home. Couldn't be further from the truth.

The bears have a ton of issues right now. This is not one of them.

Really, so allowing insubordination isn’t a problem? Funny coming from your professional job?

So he basically went to the bathroom and changed his nail color. Then came back out to practice.

Glazer made it seem like he left the facility and went home. That is insubordination. This is not.

Again, the Bears are a dumpster fire right now, but this situation is the least of their concerns.

So waving to the crowd with your back turned to the ball and not totally focused on your paid job is not insubordination also? I have never seen that defensive call.

As I said the Bears are a dumpster fire. But the Glazer report is a big bag of meh. That was my point all together. The Glazer report was simply an exaggeration to get attention.

So the comments about the locker room reaction are not true?
