You can quote that and I can quote you what Glazer said, do we meet in Rockford to fight it out?

Glazer has always been an attention whore that runs with partial truths to get attention. You are better than planting your flag on Glazer hill. I know you are pissed off about the Lions ass beating. But this is a little much

No it isn’t and how does he keep his job if what you say is true? No one is keeping a lying insider.

It's as simple as this, for me: I wouldn't sign him to a second contract and it would be a terrible situation to have him in a lame duck year. He can finish out what promises to be a bad rest of the year.

The O-line is squarely on Poles. The offense in general is on the QB and the OC. The culture is on the HC. The poor decision making is on the HC. The leadership also.

I get that most of the league has head coaches that are from the offensive side. It makes sense from a responsibility viewpoint.

There is no need to keep him. If he is gone after this year and he needs to be gone, we don’t want him or anyone on the staff doing something stupid with Caleb to save their jobs. At this point the kid can be salvaged. Eberflus can only do damage so he should go now.

I disagree because the OC also has no leadership skills.

I don’t think the Bears will lose this week (though I think they would lose if the game were in Foxboro), but if they do is that enough to fire him?

Even with the Bears history there is a limit. Trestman survived because in those times the Bears still had some successful seasons in the near-past…nowadays you have to reach back six years to find the last time you really could be a Bears optimist and that ended in heartbreaking fashion.

No. That would be too rude of them.

I'm not on JT O'Sullivan's patron, but someone posted that in JT's breakdown it showed during the Caleb scramble when Allen got the OPI, DJ gave up on the play so hard he had already walked 5 yards off the field.

Dead-cat bounce W? Get the Bears to 5 wins on the season. Bears opened at, what +8.5. Didn't they briefly crest 9, +9.5 maybe for a hot minute? Back when the excitement over the Allen trade and drafting Caleb and Odunze had Bears fans irrationally optimistic.

Fanduel doesn't currently have a season win total O/U for the Bears; which is strange, usually that only happens when there's doubt about who is starting at QB or the HC getting shit-canned in-season?

Image

Draft Kings at 7.5, juiced to the over? Bears under 7.5 at plus money feels like a gift at this point.

Image

Depending on how they do Sunday against Drake Maye. Bears lose that game and prolly cash out your under 7.5 ticket right after.

Bears then have 6 division games + @ Niners and hosting Seachickens week 17, with Seattle most likely still in contention.

A loss Sunday and move to 4-5, even if they split the Seattle-Niners games and somehow take 2 off the division they'd still come in under.

Has Coach Flus lost this team?

DJ Moore "I wanna say no."

 Yikes.

This is going to get bad quickly

I haven't looked at any of the videos, but there was a play where Caleb scrambled to the sidelines and ultimately ran out of bounds for like a 1 yard gain. He was visibly pissed at some receiver. My guess would be Moore.

Moore isn't a true #1 or team leader. Hopefully, Odunze continues to develop.

Moore was upset when he was traded last year, and admitted it iirc.

Dude just doesn’t want to be here imo. He wants to win and knows that ain’t happening here.

Moore isn't a winning leader. He was excited about being above .500 last week. Kmet should be the unquestioned leader of the offense until further notice.

When I defended him last time this stuff came up I mentioned the contract too. I can’t answer that one.. I’m starting to wonder myself.

But it’s getting hard to deny based off of his actions. He seems to have a dislike for the coaches, but I don’t know.

Then he shouldn’t have signed a fucking extension here .

The "Big Dog' experiment needs to end. He can't catch and he's an inconsistent blocker.

Definitely a mystery. On Hard Knocks he seemed genuine and like he really liked it here and wanted to be here long term.

But his actions on the field definitely give another vibe at times.

I have asked the same question. I think he just takes the money when it’s offered and keeps it compartmentalized from what happens on-field. If somebody wants to make him a millionaire dozens of times over (post-tax) he isn’t gonna say no even if he’s pretty nonplussed by the overall football situation.

He is very good. You can’t deny that. The guy can ball and I don’t think putting in the work has ever been a problem. He didn’t quit on that play because he’s lazy, he’s pissed off about something.

If they have an assistant with any sort of leadership qualities, they could bounce him today, and the season would only get better.

Otherwise after yesterday, we are looking at 6-11 again.

Yeah I don’t see it being much better than that. They battle out a home win in the division and beat New England this week.

I would have let him finish out the year if he was on good terms with the franchise QB. He almost got him killed Sunday. He would be FIRED! Monday.

Probably should jettison Poles too for thinking this kid is somehow a "franchise QB".
