Caleb Williams last 6 games 10 months ago or so for USC:

L
L
W (1 point win over Cal)
L
L
L to an unranked UCLA team on Caleb Williams birthday 11/18, to wrap up a 7-5 season and end Williams lackluster USC career.

Six weeks later USC swapped out Caleb for Miller Time Moss in the Holiday Bowl against a top-10-ranked-going-into-the-game Louisville team. Louisville favored by at least a TD in the game; Moss threw 6 touchdowns on the way to defeating the Cardinals by 2 TDs.

Moss picked up this season where he left off last season, taking down ranked LSU by a TD and blanking Utah State 48-0.

Is Miller Moss that good? Or is Caleb Williams that bad.

We'll see how Moss does in his first start in a true road-game today against Michigan. Wins over Louisville and LSU both neutral site games.

Or, its possible that they are both good players. USC may have a better team this year too -I can't answer whether or not this is the case tho because I haven't done any looking into it.

That win against LSU is nice for sure. I don't know how much the portal is mixing things up tho.. its going to be hard for teams to remain as deep as they once were due to people being able to transfer wherever and almost whenever they want. Keep in mind this lead to some big name coaches walking away. Theres also been mass reorganizing of conferences diluting the strength of traditional territories and so on.

Its going to be difficult to rely on former avenues of evaluation when predicting success for this program vs that program.

In short, the days of saying the SEC is the dominant force are slowly but surely coming to an end and the playing field is becoming more vast than it had been previously. The NIL bringing money into this means that big money programs -like USC, Texas and so on- will be able to pry more talent away from regions that used to see kids stay loyal to their home state or province.

I enjoyed watching Hussra's case for Miller Moss implode in real time earlier today.

--Inconsistent accuracy
--Inconsistent ball placement
--Arm strength seems lacking at times
--Limited athleticism
--Couldn't beat a team that had 9 total yards and 0 first downs in the second half until the final three minutes of the game
--USC would've won without his pick 6

Plus he's only 4 months younger than Williams.

So Caleb Williams is worse than a bad QB?

Not everyone can have the good fortune to watch Winning-Record Willis work his magic.

Possibly the Bears can learn something from him in how to beat their upcoming opponent, Lord knows they need all of the assistance they can get.

Probably resting for the NFL. No point in getting injured playing out the stretch.

What's a "dumb argument" is your thinking that i was bucking for Miller Moss actually being "good". He's more like validation that Caleb is rather bad.

However continue to argue points that ONLY you happen to be making McCarver. After all it'd sort of what you do around here isn't it? Just Asking A Question

We know exactly what it was. Moss being good means it was the team and not Williams with success. It turns out USC isn't a good team and Williams made them much better.

It's sad how desperate you are on this.

He’s just a long time bear fan who desperately wants Caleb to be bad because of a totally normal affection for Pittsburgh’s backup.

As a long time Bear fan I know "Huff" when I see it. Regardless of whatever I think of Justin Fields and his being the better player, if Caleb Williams could LEAD us to 12-5 and even an NFC 2nd Round Game I'm rolling. But since I don't think he can I'm not. I'll leave the Kool Aid Drinking to guys like you. Guys who coincidentally, have already called for firing the coaches 8 games in. Which is a Bears Fan staple by the way. They've done this same dance with each and every coach since Ditka.
I tried (As A Long Time Bears Fan) to provide the blueprint for you dudes during the off-season but you didn't want to listen. Trade the pick and shore up some of the gaps along the line and at the skill positions and you'd have been a surefire playoff team this year. Instead we've already taken to the time honored Nouvo Bears Fan tradition of speculating on who the next Bears coach will be halfway through the season. Which means that "WE" already believe that the season is over..What a waste

It gets hard to keep score after awhile, but I'm sure you're blaming coaches right now. And calling for them to be fired. Meantime this season is playing out just how I thought it would and so is Caleb Williams. So you can continue to celebrate the fact that our starting QB is worse than Pittsburgh’s, while I will continue to watch the shitshow which definitely did not have to be.

You don’t need to write a paragraph in response to a simple question.

You made an accusation. Support it. Brevity is your friend.
