The last 3 weeks will be forgivable if they shove their dicks down the Packers throats.

Bears 24-13

Did you go to the Bears hospital and get a Kool-Aid IV? Not sure the Bears could beat a good college team if they trot out the offensive line they started last Sunday against the Packers.

Bounce back. Caleb goes off for 150 & a TD.

Bears 19, Packers 15.

Caleb remembers how to throw a football. Bears lose but we celebrate that Caleb Williams has played well against another bum team.

Caleb reads this bored and decides if he ever hopes to be as good as the immortal Justin Fields he is going to have to take a few more risks.

As a result he throws 3 picks and fumbles twice before being knocked out of the game due to concussion protocol.

Then, Bagent throws 2 TDs in mop-up duty, causing LTG's head to explode.

Caleb has produced the exact same number of Touchdowns in the past 3 weeks as the Pittsburgh Steelers QB who doesn't play. And guys like you are just peachy about this.

You can sign and draft all the skill position guys you want, but if you look at the almost incomprehensible mismatch between the O line the Bears could start vs the Packers starting D line you start to seriously question the intelligence of one Ryan Poles.

LT-Larry Borom, 5th round pick, $3 M vs Rashan Gary, 1st round pick, $11 M
LG Doug Kramer, 6th round pick, $915,000 vs Devonte Wyatt, 1st round pick, $3.5 M
C- Coleman Shelton, UDFA, $3.5 M vs Kenny Clark, 1st round pick, $26 M
RG Ryan Bates, UDFA, $4.0 M vs Clark
RT Matt Pryor, 6th round pick, $1 M vs Lukas Van Ness, 1st round pick $3.9 M

A remarkably different approach to roster construction, Packers obviously place a tremendous value on defensive lineman, all of the players are draft picks.

The Bears....well they seem to think you can throw a body in there and you will be fine, 3 of the 5 starters are guys that other teams let go.

Stuff like this makes you wonder why Ryan Poles was not shown the door first, he and he alone is the one responsible for this idiotic approach to roster construction.

So does this make Moore want to play harder or Caleb throw to guys who already try hard?

If the new OC is smart he will script the first three plays and tell Caleb not to audible out of run plays.

First play, I formation run with Kramer as lead back, run to the right behind Pryor, he is the only big body guy that can get movement, might get nothing, but you have to settle down your jumpy QB and begin to at least show you will run the ball. You will see the Packers bringing guys up to get Caleb to check to the wrong play as teams have done all year, tell him to just run the damn play.

Second play, roll pocket to right and hit a quick pass to Kmet in the flat, every single team runs a quick pass to the TE early in the game to get the QB in rhythm.

Third play, quick pass to RB in the flat.

These will all be three step drops, you will avoid plays to the left or plays that require your LT to hold up for more than one second and to neutralize the huge mismatch between the Packers D line and the Bears o line.

You also can avoid the slumpy shoulder woe is my whining from Caleb and the highly paid WR group by avoiding an errant throw from your nervous young QB.

This is not the opponent for a get-right game for the Bears.

Green Bay, Detroit, San Fran, and Minnesota are top 10 against the run, and the Bears cannot really pass the ball, so they all, make "insert Bears QB" play QB, which sadly has been the refrain against the Bears under the last three QB's.

This is looking like a Trestman type situation where the vets have quit on the HC, you could see some ugly games over the next few weeks unless they decide to pull the plug on the HC.

This is crazy because this team has in only the last twenty months spent functionally three first round picks (I count DJ Moore as costing a first and Chase Claypool cost thirty-second overall, which in most years is a first) on wide receivers. Yet they can’t throw the ball.

This is where you kinda have to feel bad for Eberflus and even Waldron. This team is built terribly, and the they/them the Bears have at quarterback can’t even get them the ball. Claypool is out of the league (or close to it), but the other two just run around mostly doing nothing. Lotta resources for no return.

A good coach can squeeze out more out of small talent pool. I recall both Dick Jauron and Lovie Smith having less than desirable rosters and getting the most out of them. Eberflus....not so much.

Sorry, but if the Bears manage to win this game it would be the greatest upset pulled in the NFL over the last several seasons. The Bears have a locker room in near full revolt, a terrible offensive line, a rookie QB who is playing poorly, the HC is an idiot, and the OC is calling plays for the the 1st time from the Bears sideline (or booth) on short notice..

..there is almost no way they can win this game. Or, even hope to win the next few games.

The NFL owners need to get together at this point and force the McCaskeys out like they did with Dan Snyder in Washington lol

Agree the Bears have aero chance of winning this game, but we would need a Sexual Harassment scandal for the McCaskeys to get forced out. Their too big of prudes for that to be a possibility.

I'm just amazed that Williams sets up so close to the line of scrimmage on so many plays. He is a pretty mobile qb but he really is a sitting duck for anykind of defense with a good pqss rush. I'm not blaming Williams for where he sets up, that is on the OC but you'd think that the coaching staff would have made a change.

Also, I think that Williams deserves some credit for his toughness and also for not blaming about his coaching or teammates for how bad the offense is. I said that that he would struggle and wasn't the all world quarterback that many fans and so-called qb experts said he was. For right now, I think he needs a real quarterback whisperer to develop him into a good quarterback. Something more than a mere play caller.

There will be no quick fix for this. Another chapter of Bear's football failure and disappointment has been written. This latest chapter really hurts because they had an amazing opportunity to put together a very good team and pissed it away. Its unforgivable.
