Shane Waldron is not the reason Caleb Williams cannot accurately throw to wide open receivers that are only five yards past the LOS.

It's possible Williams is just a terrible quarterback. You still aren't firing the OC and benching the QB at the same time.

Caleb is physically talented enough to be a good starting QB. He is also mentally unstable enough to override his talent. Be a rookie and take things one step at a time, stack some successes and develop at a normal rate. Claiming to re-write history, telling the punter he won't be needed and standing up in front of the locker room on the first day and giving a speech to the veterans on picking up their towels are all extremely questionable character flags.
