Haven't had the Wendy's Krabby Patty, but agree that there's a time and a place for all burgers. I'm just sayin' that Smsahburgers fall well under the list of a high quality 1/2 POUND hunk of beef moo-ing at Medium Rare.
i'll take a half pound of well cooked smashburgers over a med rare thick 1/2lb patty. But most smash burgers are so overcooked they require so much sauce to make palatable/juicy that you don't even taste the burger. I like thick patty burgers with not much else but some light
onion and pickles.
I like pickles, but not on my burger. Too strong and covers up the glorious taste of beef.
When we have burger night, there's always a batch of smashburgers, as that is the preference of Princess Diablo. On one occasion, my managed to get one that was almost pink enough to be medium rare. That's tough to accomplish.
