Great loss by Tennessee tonight. They strategically lost this game to avoid a 3rd loss in the SEC title game and will make the playoffs.

Nothing says a regular season that matters like a loss being a GOOD thing….

I doubt it but a 2nd loss coming in the title game could be worse than losing now. It seems like half the SEC will have exactly two losses.

I am currently in Tennessee with a massive amount of Vol fans currently, at a wedding. If that happened, they would all drive to Knoxville and burn it down. Nobody is losing a game on purpose.

Indiana natty futures dropped back from 2x or so "Cash Out Now" value to 1x/face-value/get back what you paid.

Figured they'd drop down to approaching zero value? Books must think Indiana still likely to make the CFP if they are still offering 100% value for the Indiana futures tickets. Probably more to do with Ole Miss losing to Florida today than Indiana's 2nd TD in garbage time.

If the Gophers hold on here and Ohio State loses a rivalry game to Michigan (UM’s season goes from disappointment to triumph with a win in Columbus) then Indiana just needs to take care of business against Purdue to get their ticket punched for the B1G Championship game. That would essentially be a home game for Hoosiers, who would still not be favored but even with a loss would be the third team in the B1G and probably get in by default.

Though really, unless this scenario were to play out and they beat Oregon, they don’t deserve to make it.
