That just isn't true. Drake Maye is the only one with even close to the same odds of being a great NFL QB. That's why they are clearly the top 2 quarterbacks.

Just because Bo Nix or Penix or JJ McCarthy has a non-zero chance of being a HOF QB doesn't mean that Williams doesn't have a higher chance of being a HOF QB.

The W-L record with the Bears doesn't include wins with the Steelers.

You just claimed that nothing "wins" related favors him. Yes it does.

You ONLY excluded the Heisman Trophy winner and overwhelming choice to be Rookie of The Year in your "analysis"

I don't think Daniels can sustain what is making him really good right now. If he can run like this for a decade and stay healthy he will be great.

OK wake me when he doesn't "sustain" it. Because right now he and your guy Caleb aren't even in the same conversation. Which was sort of your point "initially" wasn't it?

None of the rookies are great NFL QBs now.

Why when you make a terrible point(Fields win loss record) you just find some other random thing to talk about instead?

Chicago Bears quarterback Justin Fields has the 11th best odds at +1800 to win the 2023 NFL MVP Award.
BetMGM gives the latest update on Fields getting a lot of attention with betters this offseason.

Lastly, Bears QB Justin Fields is receiving a lot of buzz this offseason after his ridiculous 2022 season. The 24-year-old has the third-highest ticket percentage (9.3), which is higher than former MVPs Lamar Jackson (8.9) and Patrick Mahomes (8.7). However, Fields is only receiving 8.4 percent of the handle. The young dual-threat quarterback completed 60.4 percent of his passes for 2,242 yards, 17 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions in 2022. He also had an incredible year on the ground, totaling 1,143 yards and eight scores. It was one of the surprise stories of last season, leaving bettors to think Fields could take another leap this season.

Fields' MVP odds opened up at +3000 and have quickly moved to +1800 ahead of training camp. With such a big shift, bettors might feel pressured to place a wager on the young QB. However, the best move is to wait and see how training camp and preseason go for Fields. The Bears added D.J. Moore to their wide receiver unit, which should help Fields' passing numbers. That being said, the jury is still out on the young quarterback and if his performance last season was a flash in the pan. Fields is uber-talented and plays in a division that many believe is up for grabs, making him a trendy MVP pick.

This should be a fun season for Bears fans as Fields should take the next step in his maturation process as a future star with standout receiver DJ Moore running routes for him in 2023.
You are the same dude who shot down each and every dissenting opinion regarding Caleb Williams this past summer. One of the very same guys (and there were quite a few around here) who knew he'd be great after watching him bumslay shitty teams while he was in college. Each and every time someone deviated from CFMB consensus, guys like you were right there for ya to proclaim that no one knew anything.
For the past 10 weeks I've watched everyone from the concession stand guy to the ghost of Michael McCaskey get blamed for Caleb's troubles. Everyone except Caleb of course.

The primary reason that the Bears suck is because Caleb sucks. They have a solid roster and a shitty QB. That is where Poles made his mistake. He rode the wrong and now he's going to have to pay for it.

As far as Justin Fields goes it's embarrassing that he (a backup) is decidedly better than our starter. Which is the most shameful thing in all of this.

^Yeah, all this can be easily summed up with: 'Nothing that went wrong while Justin was here was his fault, everything thats gone wrong since then is Calebs fault'.

Theres nothing more to you here than that.

That JLN comment had the desired effect. He has you dead to rights on this.

This is just gibberish and seem rather desperate to say the least. Fact of the matter is that Justin Fields is the better QB and with him the Bears would be a better team.
.and it's rather silly to constantly bloviate about "cults" and "fanboys" given the lovefest you dudes had and continue to have for one of the worst QBs in the league currently.

All of you went "all in" on someone based on their performances against shitty college teams with one of the reasons being that you just simply "Hate Justin Fields". And now YOUR hate of Fields has screwed the damn franchise.

Justin Fields record in his past 14 games would make the Bears a playoff team. And with the way the Bears defense has played coupled with a weak schedule, there is no way that they would be less than 7-2 right now

Justin Fields has never shown the ability to "Bum Slay". The first opportunity the Steelers had to ditch him they did. For a Russell Wilson who looked like dog shit the past couple of years.

Caleb may end up being a bust, he may end up fine. Either way he is not at the point of a cap crippling contract like Fields would be due.

Justin Fields will sign to be someone's starting QB next season. Book It!
Bears Defense during Justin Fields 2nd year. But hey why did they lose so often?

scared money is lost money

when william wallace gave his speech that you can die as old men in your beds as english subjects or die fighting for FREEDOM, Flus liked the first option

Not sure what more you need to see here, this guy is losing you game after game, every week you read post game stuff from the other team talking about how they exploited obvious flaws in the Bears offense, defense, and special teams, this goes back to hiring bad coaches and not doing any self scouting to fix obvious deficiencies.

Eberflus is a joke around the NFL, you wonder what this team could do with a competent HC.

i dont see a point in continuing with him as the head coach. seems like a nice guy but time after time he fails in his HC duties. it's not just bad decisions it's the indecision that happens before the decision is made too

Just too many losses where somebody tweets: "Teams were 300 and 0 when X happens before the Bears did it and lost today." Flus' gigantic collapse losses are trends and not flukes.

Exactly.

He can't be gone fast enough for the good of the present, as well as the future.

He couldn't hurt the Bear enough as a player, so he came back to repeat it as an agent.

Hello Trace Armstrong.

if poles actually thought eberflus was the right guy i cant fault him for going with the guy he wants. but he has to ownt he mistake... you only get one HC firing, we've reached the midpoint of the Poles era barring some miracle sustained success happening over the next couple of years

Lazy graph. Eberlus record is closely tied to backup running back Justin field's. With better QB play Eberflus would have a better record.

Don't worry, Eberflus says the team is protesting to the NFL about the lack of a flag for contact with the long snapper on the FG block.

Being so deathly afraid of a RB fumble with :30+ to go that you just run down the clock to kick from nearer the upper-limit of your dead-leg kicker's FG range is either a complete lack of confidence in your O-line and RB, or a blatant sign that coach is scared that his job is on the line.

How can a coach go in front of the media and say he’s afraid to give the ball to his backs because they’re such fuck ups they’re probably going to fumble and lose the game?

LGBTQ Time Guy: duh the kicker missed the kick because CALEB WILLIAMS. If we had Field's he/xe would have made it.
