Thomas Brown calling another good game today. Calebs had to make some throws today and he’s hit many of them.

Minnesota seems to be mixing it up quite a bit between man and zone but the Bears offense has held up well. They haven’t really given any opportunities to go deep which surprises me because thought they’d ‘force Caleb to throw to beat them’ but Flores seems to have a pretty laidback bend but don’t break approach to this game so far. I think this could lead to Caleb throwing a crucial pick later in the game. We’ll see.

Bears need to get the run game going more imo, and the defense has to find a way to create some pressure on Darnold -he’ll make mistakes if they do. The Bears will have to scheme that in tho because no one can beat a damn block on this team for some reason..

The thing is the Vikings are just playing this game to win it and go home. This is somewhat to their detriment since they came in lackadaisical and slow footed.

The Bears are the ones with these weird nebulous goals where losses are acceptable as long as the quarterbacks gives dumbass fans warm fee-fee’s. So as far as Minnesota is concerned they are ahead on the road in a division game despite playing some of their worst football of the year. The Bears meanwhile don’t even really know what success looks like short of Caleb Williams looking like Pat Mahomes.

Your third string safety doesn’t wrap up but then you set your opponent back fifteen yards to keep this a one-score game….that’s honestly pretty good defense overall man. I don’t know what more you people want, the Vikings have arguably the best WR tandem in the NFL they are going to get theirs.

If not for a fluke fumble the Vikes score 21 in the first half. They've been an absolute sieve relying on offensive penalties and drops.

He's had a great game but Keenan needs to catch that, I don't care that it was a little high.

Just take the fucking points. It’s still the 3rd and it’s a close game..

That was an all-time sequence. The crowd goads the coach into doing the absolute wrong thing then the bust quarterback fucks it up like he always does. It’s a perfect encapsulation. Then people say the Bears are losing this game because of the defense.

Don't agree with the call at all to go for it on 4th.

So much time still left. Take the three.

Does Flus ever make a decision that pans out?

I’m good with the call.

Against close man coverage that's the throw, it hit Allen in both hands. That's a catchable ball.

Bad pass to Keenan Allen. This game perfectly encapsulates why Caleb hasn't thrown a TD in 4 going on 5 games. You're not going to score much throwing Wide Receiver Screens and 7 yard curl routes.

Minnesota's 2 TDs have come as a result of going deep. 1 a completion and the other a PI. The Bears have no semblance of of a vertical passing game. Which has been the biggest problem with their offense all season regardless of coordinator.

Guy is wide open on 3rd and long and the defense needs a bad throw and catch effort to bring up 4th. What a great "defense".

I was teetering on firing poles but if he doesn't fire flus after this game he is either a colossal idiot or george still has way too much influence.

Can't wait to be told by expert QB talent evaluators that the drops by Swift and Kmet were actually Caleb's fault.

Fingertips are not "right in the hands". With Keenan Allen having to extend mightily at that. That was a simple throw that the kid botched

Well that's why I didn't say it hit his fingertips.
