I don't know, but three of the last four Bears coaches have all done it!

This quarterback has habitually taken loss plays that have pushed the Bears out of field goal range. Uberloss is fully justified in taking the ball out of his hands.

Yah totally. Like he/xe should have just prevented Caleb from driving the ball into FG range in the fourth quarter. Probably should have just punted from their 20. You fucking dumbass Caller Bob

Uh, do you know why Doug Kramer fumbled on the goal line? It was the quarterback and a bad hand-off. I’ve been watching shitty Bears quarterbacks blow it on seemingly benign plays my whole life. Fumbled snap, bad handoff, tripping over his own feet taking a loss….there’s plenty he can do.

Caleb is about as bad a quarterback the Bears have consistently given playing time to since the Craigathan Quinnzel year. I put nothing past him. He is capable of fucking anything up.

You’re saying he would not make a negative play to take the Bears out of field goal range? His history in that situation is pretty bad.

I'm saying "Eberflus was right to not call a run play with more than a minute and one timeout left at the far reaches of field goal range because Caleb had a good chance of fumbling the snap or handoff" is pants-on-head insane.

"I didn't trust the offense to gain five yards on the ground with two downs" is a fireable offense, or should be. What are you doing, coaching high school?

We very well could have a Trestmanian showing on Thanksgiving. Maybe the long week after that will be the time to launch him.

Plenty of times. When specifically was the last time Caleb Williams threw a touchdown pass?

lol, just give it up. The guy’s a scrub. He is the one who fucked the loss against the Redskins by fumbling the handoff to Kramer. He just sucks, Uberloss is right to isolate his ability to kill the team.

So your example of the time he’s backed the Bears out of FG range numerous times is the time Kramer let the ball bounce off his stomach going into the end zone. Got it.

I can remember him doing it against the Colts or Texans trying to avoid a sack. I don’t remember him running backwards out of FG range on a handoff.

He did it against the Colts, Redskins and Patriots for sure. I believe he did it against the Texans too. Against the Colts and Redskins he did it at the end of a half with less than a minute left.

And again—it’s Caleb who blew the Kramer play! This fact has been completely ignored, but it is demonstrably true if you watch the replay. Williams did not put the ball into Kramer chest. It would have been a fumble even if it was a running back getting the ball.

"If the pass rush doesn't get there the coverages get exposed" ...Lombardi on the great defensive schemes of Eberflus.

Their problem has been the run. No big fatties at defensive tackle.

No doubt stopping the run is an issue.
There is this false narrative that Eberflus is a defensive guru with great schemes.

Nah. He has talent but is poorly coached and has a shitty offensive line. Same thing as Fields.

Eberflus was in rare form again today, this guy cannot fix even the most recognizable flaws, why would you keep wasting time, he is not developing as a HC, in fact he seems to be regressing.

Pretty simple gameplan for the Vikes, when the Bears lined up in their Cover-2 base with Gordon at nickle, which they are almost playing exclusively, they ran the ball at Gordon, and they hit the open zones when the Bears dropped into Cover-2 shell. It was like taking candy from a baby given the piss poor run D they get from their overpaid MLB who looks like he is on roller skates against the run.

It also looks like the Vikes had the Bears well scouted and noticed the LB's and DB's often miss their landmarks and drop too deep in the Cover 2 shell, leaving open spots in front of the linebackers and in front of the CBs which are easy to take advantage of due to the Bears lack of a pass rush.

It seemed the D was confused at times and at least once was not even lined up when the ball was snapped.

Why wouldn't you blitz the backup QB on 3rd and long and dare him to throw a deep accurate pass? They played too deep and allowed an easy conversion which was an example of the lack of situational awareness you get from Eberflus.

Not sure why the HC and special teams coach are still employed, they have cost you at least two games this year, no real adjustments so you get another FG blocked, odd decisions on when to pass on FG's, and trotting out Velus Jones for no apparent reason and having him blow a kick return which is yet another game losing decision that could have been avoided.

Brad Biggs with this nugget: the Bears are closer to the #1 pick in the draft (2 games) than they are to getting out of last place in the division (4 games).

Caleb progressing with a new OC is a fact. Clumsy, stupid coaching and sloppy play is also a fact.

The head coach has got to go. Today. He's a dead man walking anyway. Pull the switch.

So they have actually regressed with "Generational Talent" Caleb QBing the team? Shocking!
