Two touchdown passes today for Caleb. Really nice job of creating that play.

He just is not consistently accurate. I don’t know what else to say, you should be able to see it plainly.

I played Basketball in High School. And played every major sport until I settled on basketball as my primary sport. Damn sure wasn't fucking golf

Does this id**t realize that he is currently bucking for a QB that has thrown exactly 1 touchdown pass over the past 5 games ? Just Asking A Question

Caleb Williams has had a very good game, and you know it. This defense has not, and you know that too.

The Bears have an offense that is scoring anemic. Caleb Williams is the primary reason that this is the case. You're not an athlete and never have been. Thus you cannot understand what I'm about to tell you. He's putting up "empty stats". And has been for the past couple of weeks. The Bears have very little semblance of a vertical passing game. They are running out routes and Wide Receiver Screens because they are scared for him to throw the ball deep. High% passes which do little to put pressure on the defense.

He's hit Kmet, Allen, and Swift for passes that went more than 10 yards through the air.

And enough with the "where'd you play your ball?!" you fucking dope. Grow up.

It's a fair question considering that your golf playing ass keeps bringing it up. Fact is you don't know sports. The Bears have no semblance of a vertical passing game. Which is the primary reason that they cannot scor. You'd know this if you actually knew anything about the fucking game

 What? I don't bring up anyone's sports-playing history. And I don't care that your high school let you carry the water, Radio, that doesn't trump the photographic evidence earlier in the thread that you don't know what the fuck you're talking about.

Agreed

I think you do that if you’re trying to win the game. If you’re just trying to pad stats and make it look better than it actually is you do what Eberflus did there.

Can anyone explain going for 2 there. Don’t you play for the tie at home?

I think the math is going for 2 has historically been a coin flip.

So the idea is that if you need 2 TDs and you’re likely to convert at least one two point attempt, go for two right away. If you make it, you’re playing for a win. If you miss it odds are in your favor that you’ll convert the try on the next opportunity.

I thought I saw a stat recently that 2pt attempts were down to like 30% conversion this year, so it doesn’t seem like that strategy makes sense anymore.

It was his best play as a Bear no doubt. There are still too many issues to really fix, but he did it there.

The kid has stepped up big in big moments.

It amazes me how people view him as bad no matter what he does.

The problems of this team are not related to him.

You show up week after week and make a complete ass of yourself trying to blame everyone except Caleb Williams. And yet it's everyone else who disagrees that doesn't know shit. Do you not understand how stupid you look?

He really holds them back throughout the game. The Bears do not move it vertically until teams fully slack off the way Minnesota did.

Bears have had enough of these tight games that eventually they had to get a break and they got it on the onside kick. And then yeah, Caleb went over the middle when Minnesota made a Bears-esque boneheaded move to hyperfocus on the sideline (22 seconds is plenty of time!!). But if the goal is to be down two scores with :30 left every week I can tell you how it will usually end.

We’ll see how OT goes. Minnesota is clearly reeling.

Maybe he blames everyone but caleb Williams because there's no reason to blame Williams, it might be coaching and players. I mean you alude to that all the time talking about how great fields is gonna be.

There's no way Eberflus gets fired now. Even if they lose, they still kept it close. Maybe he can even get better next year.
