That’s what I’m saying. He just does that and it’s a fundamental problem, and now the delay of game. He excels when defenses slack off but realistically 9/10 times when defenses slack off like that you are relying a prayer to stand a chance.

Between the holding the ball and the accuracy problems, I just don’t see it as surmountable. Your mileage may vary.

Damn if he just hits Swift on the check down on 2nd down they would have been fine. Cannot take a sack there

Yep, even Kmet flared out and could have been hit. He's trying to make the hero play, but I suspect that's a rookie thing.

Ok, the "chain of command" joke was pretty good.

Also, the Soldier Field turf monster comes for...the Chain Gang.

It wouldn't have been a "miraculous catch" for a receiver to hold onto a thrown ball that he was able to get the palm of his hand around the ball. You're delusional, Radio.

They're playing Prevent when their opponent needs just a FG.

Defense was pretty much cooked at the end of regulation, they had nothing left for OT.

My goodness the defensive play calling was absolute shit on this last drive.. just wide ass open soft zones with no pressure on the QB..

Calls defenses like he leads, cautiously, without courage

The Bears still have a positive score differential on the year.

I don't really mind the loss all that much. It's clear the Bears have a QB worth building around. This season is all about his development, moral victories and all that.

Let’s face it, your defense is dead and everyone knows it. They are fully gassed from a third quarter where they had to overcome three-and-outs and a miffed punt. Third string safety in there playing poorly, Terrell Smith not in control, the Bears lack of depth in the pass rush fully exposed with guys being totally out of gas.

You can’t just win the coin toss and go three-and-out. The Bears odds of winning the game cratered when that happened, and there just wasn’t enough magic left over to give them one last turnover off the punt return.

Well, another deserved loss tbh.

Flus just calls essentially prevent style soft zone all the way down the damn field, refuses to send extra pressure and allows a great receiving core all kinds of time to sit in huge zone holes giving up big plays

Brown called a great game today and Caleb played great overall but.. Caleb fucks up bad taking that sack in OT and there goes your best opportunity to nail it shut

All around losing football at the end of the game there.

This thought process has simply never led to success. Not even trying to goad you or shit in your cheerios, but it doesn’t work. It never has worked, and the Bears will not be the first it works for.
