People forget that LTG also proudly proclaimed that Justin is "worth building around" and accepting "moral victories" because he "isn't a bust" as he lost 5 straight starts in his 2nd season.

He was you stupid piece of shit. Justin Fields has the exact same number of wins as "Generational Talent" Caleb Williams despite playing in 5 fewer games..

But this really isn't your argument is it? Just Asking A Question. Or mine for that matter. I'm not saying that you can get his Hall of Fame bust ready right now or that he is a Pro Bowler (moment of silence for that game I believe) but what I am saying is that the kid isn't a bust either. Which is what MANY, including you seemingly were arguing in the beginning of the season. He is obviously a keeper at this point contrary to what I read on here week after week.

Did you say this after Justin Fields lost his 5th straight start in a game against the Packers in 2022?

Funny how you knew in 2022 (with your dumbass) that the Bears had the sort of team that was "built to win" when their own players did not. Stupid motherfucker

So when Justin Fields loses 5 straight starts late in the second year of his career, you saw the forest for the trees and said that despite the losses, his individual performances were promising enough to not warrant alarm and a rethinking of the position.

But when Caleb Williams loses 5 straight starts midway through his rookie season, his individual performances don't matter and he should be saddled with the losses, and even when he does perform well it doesn't mean much.

This is definitely sound football analysis from a rational person.

So when a Bears player tells you that they had a team that wasn't "built to win" we aren't supposed to believe him? But we are supposed to believe you? Someone that is known to be a blithering idi*t? Just Asking Questions
To illustrate how stupid and uninformed that you are about sports, he just essentially explained to you why "moral victories" were the best that they could have hoped for given the talent construction of the team dumbass.

Dan is "reporting without reporting" that everyone on the coaching staff knows it's over, and that it's so over that it'd be more humane to fire Eberflus now than to string him along.

Too bad I don't own the Morrissey mult or I'd workshop an "I Know it's Over" cover. Really though you wouldn't have to change much, other than change mother to Ginny or Ryan.

Quote:
… Oh, Ryan, I can feel the soil falling over my head
And as I climb into an empty bed
Oh well, enough said
I know it's over, still I cling
I don't know where else I can go, over

… Oh, Ryan, I can feel the soil falling over my head
See, the sea wants to take me
The knife wants to slit me
Do you think you can help me?

… And I know it's over, still I cling
I don't know where else I can go
Over and over, over and over
Over and over, la la la

… I know it's over
And it never really began
But in my heart, it was so real
And you even spoke to me and said

… If you're so funny
Then why'd you lose again tonight?
And if you're so clever
Then why'd you lose again tonight?
If you're so very entertaining
Then why'd you lose again tonight?
If you're so very good looking
Why'd you lose again tonight?

I know
'Cause tonight is just like any other night
That's why you lost again tonight

A few years ago, the NFL did fantasy football commercials with a bro-country cover of "Everyday Is Like Sunday" and I was so mad.

as I wrote in september, if he doesn't get 8+ wins, he should be gone. This is a sufficiently talented team. Just like last year was a no excuses year for Fields, this is a no excuses for Eberflus.

Fluss is not getting fired today or tomorrow. He was never a bad guy. A lot more humble than Nagy.

The Old Lady does not like change. They will bring in new offensive coaches but Fluss will stay where he is.

George will never allow Poles to hire an alpha who is a winning coach. They'll hire another "don't rock the boat" milk toast offensive coordinator. George is the problem!

Do you let him lose 7 in a row? 11? Put him out of his misery already.

Eberflus has one more win than Marc Trestman with 13 more games coached. Haven't they seen enough?

It’s incredible. It’s not like the Bears have given up, or that Williams isn’t showing improvement, or that the team isn’t competitive.

None of that is occurring. Eberflus is fucking up in incredible ways that even 8 y/o kids who play Madden know you don’t do.

I've never been more confident that they're going to fire him. He embarrassed the Bears on Thanksgiving so badly that even the announcers were openly calling it a botch. If they don't, they might not be forgiven.

Surely they don’t hit us again.

The Bears, however, had made no decision on his future going into their game Thursday at the Lions and the evaluation is ongoing, a source said.

There is no way they can let him keep going after that embarrassment.

Who cares if they have never fired a coach in season before.
