Wait, he threw less but had many more interceptions? And he fumbled 16 times?

Brick McCarver is definitely someone that confuses "Activity With Accomplishment"

To crunch the numbers even further when Caleb passed the ball slightly more than Fields he threw for 8 fewer TDs. Despite having vastly superior weapons to work with on offense.

How many turnovers did Fields have compared to Caleb? Just asking a question.

How MANY points were generated in the first half of games by Justin as opposed to Caleb? Hint:: This might get ugly.

The Bears have had at least 3 games this season where they had zero points at halftime. Ouch!

At least 3 other games where they only have generated 3 points by halftime

Fourth year starter Justin Fields playing with superior coaching than he was with the Bears first half points in his starts with Pittsburgh . 10,9,7,3,3. Fucking juggernaut.

That clearly isn't what you've been. doing the entire time of course. What I'm providing here is a Football Education for ya McCarver. When ya "crunch" the numbers in regard to Caleb and his "gaudy stat line   it becomes fairly evident what is going on here. But it takes a true aficionado such as myself to actually do it. Not a novice like you McCarver

Since you love questions, who has thrown more touchdowns per attempt this year? Fields or Williams?

In 2022 it was 11.3 with the Bears.
In fact when you exclude the 2 bumslaying games, Caleb's average over the first 3 quarters of games is a rather robust 9 points per game. Ouch!

Up until 2 games ago when Caleb began padding his stats throwing TDs in games that were over it was JFields

As stated previously what I'm providing for you and your team is an education on sports McCarver. Fact is that half of Caleb's TD passes have come when the Bears are down 2 scores or more. It's not tough to ascertain what he's doing here.

No you don’t get it Caleb Williams is the first and only quarterback to ever play for bad coaches. That’s why only one team has managed to score three or less points this year, everyone else has Vince Lombardi and Don Shula its very complicated you just wouldn’t understand.

Being on a 6 game losing streak with a 4-8 record is evidence of Caleb doing lots of "good" things I suppose.

The Bears aren’t the only team to score three (or fewer) points this year.

Justin Fields had an 8 game skid to finish out his second year in the league and you said he wasn't a bust and was clearly worth building around.

10-28. Fields record in Chicago. The moment you acknowledge the Bears were correct in getting rid of Fields because of that record we can question the record of Williams.

By the way. DJ Moore, Cole Kmet and Darnell Mooney's best seasons as NFL players were with Justin Fields as their QB.

Quote:
Justin Fields is growing up right before our eyes. I was excited about the Bears when they traded for Cutler (didn't work out as planned, and wanted to be about (Pro Bowl QB) (Pro Bowl QB) (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky but this kid looks like he will be good-great once they get a few weapons around him.

What's laughable about your cult is that you act as if you really know Justin is "that dude" and has yet to prove himself in four years.

Is Caleb playing both side of the ball? Can he block for himself and stop the run on defense? Did he not bring his team back to win multiple times over the last 4 games? You want him to coach as well?

Now who's making "excuses" . Most true Bears fans don't believe that the defense is the problem
Caleb is currently 28th in QBR. He's currently ranked behind a guy that was already cut whom everyone here thinks is terrible.

Before the season most prognosticators (and MANY here) had the Bears penciled in at 8-9 wins easy. And by the way. Pick any year where Justin Fields walked in with this particular setup on either offense or defense? I'll hangup and listen for my answer.

The Giants and Dolphins both matched that output. Of course the Bears stinker followed a 9 point effort from the previous week so it felt worse.

I believe the panthers may have done it as well.
