I have no clue. I'd say Ty Helton at WKU is the favorite. He almost got it last time.

Walters came out of nowhere so who knows.

I thought Howard would’ve been a much better quarterback than he’s turned out to be. Chip Kelly is I don’t even know what. That offense today was pathetic. Playing against A mostly second and third string secondary.

i'm listening on the radio in my ear while putting lights on the roof. soon i was sitting in a valley watching the game on my phone in 15 degree weather. After the mullings run, i got down and finished it in the garage. My wife is texting me like "are you ok is there an emergency?" as i'm screaming on the roof.

Does anyone actually think that Penn State is the third best team in the country?

Any worse than ND being 4?

Yeah, a little bit. I don't think the committee even believes these rankings. If this were the old system, they would find a way to ace both of them out.

Projected to play ASU and Boise State. They could make a run.

Wouldn’t get too hung up on matchups quite yet. The B1G and SEC conference championships will have zero bearing on the overall field, but they will have a big impact on the seeding.

I'm pretty confident in Texas and Oregon but not the rest

I don’t know you can with Texas, their schedule was extremely weak.

outside of oregon, #2-7 for me is WTF knows'ville.

TX lost to GA
penn st lost to OSU
ND lost to NIU
GA lost to 2 decent teams
OSU lost to Oregon and Mich
TN lost to GA and ARK.

IMO as much as it pains me, OSU played Oregon the closest. the Michigan yips exist apparently (and so to playoff yips) but I think they should be above ND and Penn st.

So for me it would probably be :

Oregon
TX
GA
OSU
Penn st
TN
ND (loss to NIU is inexcusable and they should pay)

and then the rest are all shitballs

Tennessee is SEC Penn State to me. I've been fooled too many times. They have to prove it to me for my belief.

That's kind of the new world order of "mega" conferences though. A lot of it will come down to who you didn't have to play in a given year.

Look at Indiana. The top 8 teams in the Big10, they played 2 of the other 7. Their other 7 conference wins were against teams that had losing records, including playing all 3 of the really bad bottom 3.

I follow Big 12. Kansas St had the opposite of Indiana. They played all 4 of the Big 12 teams that tied for 1st (3 on the road). They are a decent team that pulled the short straw in schedule strength this year. The same 4 teams that tied for 1st had 1 game against each other (BYU vs ASU a couple weeks ago).

That GA game makes me wonder about Texas.

You can find a way to ding pretty much anybody's opponents, but Texas has more wins against bowl eligible teams than anybody else in playoff contention.

Looked like Penn State was going to get blown out but they've answered back and seems like they figured out Oregon's D.

Lot of points for the first half.

IU played both teams from last years Natty plus Ohio State and they basically ended Nebraska’s season. Is it the best schedule ever played? No, but its better than people give them credit for.

But neither of those teams were good this year, so it really doesn’t matter what happened last year.

It’s not like they tried to schedule great ‘23 teams for out of conference play and those teams ended up shit. They played a conference schedule and benefitted from a weak draw. They bought their way out of their one decent non-conference matchup on the schedule.

That’s not to knock them, it’s a fact. They’ll get in the playoff and get to prove it in the first round.
