There’ve been a couple Poles-friendly leaks at Warren’s expense post-Flus.

Trouble in the-opposite-of-paradise?

Not sure I would link it to Poles, but clearly Warren is making enemies.

I think Poles is trying to get some positive ink out there so he can find another job in the NFL should things continue heading south. Nobody is going to remember drafting the likes of Jaquan Brisker or Gervon Dexter if Caleb isn't pretty damn good, they're going to remember the most cap space in NFL history producing an o-line that turned their 1.1 rookie QB into the most-sacked starter in the NFL. They'll remember hiring Flus to tank and then holding onto him for too long as he brought embarrassment and disaster to the team numerous times. And they'll really remember him being cucked by the team president at press conferences discussing football decisions.

Not buying the Harbaugh reached out to the Bears story.
The Bears reached out to him and he blew them off.

No, the most likely situation is that Harbaugh to the Chargers was a done deal before the NFL season even started. It was widely rumored for most of the season as happening.

Harbaugh hates Warren.
Regardless of who blew whom he was never going to be with the Bears with Warren still around.
I will put my money on Habaugh blowing off the Bears.

Silvy hounded Waddle about this during Michigan’s run last year and Waddle refused to say what he knew.. after the season was over and the Bears announced they were retaining Eberflus.. and the Chargers landed Harbaugh.. Waddle said on the air that Jim told him the Bear were his dream job.

Take it for what it’s worth but I believed it when he said it and I believe he and Jim are actually friends so I have no doubt Harbaugh would have said it.

If Warren really is incompetent enough to pass on a guy like Harbaugh for ‘personal reasons’ (spoiler alert.. he is that incompetent) then the Bears have yet another idiot with too much power that put their own interests in front of the organizations.

If there’s any truth to Warren shutting this down George has to grow a pair of balls and confront this moron. There’s no excuse for passing on Harbaugh coming here. It’s a fucking movie script waiting to happen and they pass..? Fucking dumb.

Harbaugh would have fixed every problem these idiots have had going on 30 plus years. I already knew this was true, but dragging it up again and it getting ‘leaked’ pisses me off more.

The McKaskey's loved Harbaugh when he was QB for the Bears.

Michael McKaskey and Virginia kept pushing him under Ditka because he was the anti Jim McMahon.

If it was up to Virginia he would have had the job no questions asked. But I don't think he was interested.

Lombardi has said Harbaugh loves the Raiders but they made zero effort to land him deciding to stay with Pierce.

The Raiders are a level of stupid beyond everyone else. The Bears are the most incompetent franchise in the NFL; the Raiders are a perpetual-motion trainwreck that can be argued to be on some level related to the NFL.

The Bears are in media overdrive psoitioning the QB coach to be their own personal Antonio Pierce.

But they had to go to the most decadent hellhole in the country to get it. I can't root for them anymore.

I’m with you. I’m pretty much permanently against teams that relocate.

That said, I basically can’t root for the Bears anymore either.

49ers kicking Bear's ass all over the field. Clearly Frisco is pumped up after last week and while Brown is trying, he just is outmatched. 14-0. and the 1st quarter is still early.

Kittle looks like he will end up with 300 passing yards today. Maybe in the first half???

He has a podcast? And you listen to it? And you think he has insight into the Bears inner workings? Might as well put up HawaiiYous thoughts.

Most of these guys would want their own GM and Warren likes Poles for some unknown reason, so you really limit it guys that will come in and accept the current failed Bears infrastructure.

Any HC candidate is going to ask Warren what exactly has Poles done to prove he knows how to build an NFL roster, would love to hear him try to answer that question.

I would tend to agree with you. But that is why I would say of those 4 guys Flores maybe the most likely. He has connections to both Poles and Warren.

George treats it like a fucking hobby, he places more importance on his youth baseball umpiring than the team.

I don't think any of these guys are in a position to demand their own GM.
