Didn't he break his brain on a cocaine binge?

Where you're from and where you grew up is who you are.

He's Mass Cat. No getting around it. Chicago's red headed step child who's been dying his hair.

Imagine abandoning Tom Brady in your 20s to appropriate Bear fan misery.

Real big sports guy move.

I don't listen to PMT often, but have heard this story making the rounds recently. My initial thought was who cares but apparently Big Cat was lying about part of his fandom, like pretending to have heartbreak from the Steve Bartman Cubs year when he wasn't a Cubs fan at all at that point. That's a tough look.

It’s a great story, in that it doesn’t matter at all but is incredibly, incredibly weird and changes the way a relatively famous person is perceived in an instant.

It’s kind of like the Manti Te’o story.

PMT is great. for now this story doesnt bother me that much. i always wondered how he adopted chicago fandom. If someone is going to do the research to show there was a lot of fraudulent stuff being posted that contradicts his new version of events i'd be more interested.

While he was a blogger, he ripped into carpetbaggers. When he was hired full time, he asked Portnoy if he should come clean and Portnoy said no.

Just thought I'd drag Portnoy into this despicable sordid scandal.

Portnoy can spin this because he’s happy to be a scumbag. If it were him alone he’d already be bragging about how the most popular Chicago guy is actually a Boston guy because Boston is that much better than everybody.

Big Cat wants to be a likeable nice guy, which he seems to be, but he’s just incredibly, incredibly weird. Very odd human.

His partner on PMT is literally a made up character so it's not shocking that Big Cat made a business decision to fake his persona also.
