Why we got into the wilderness is a CFMB thing. All you dopes have let LTG drive you around crashing into shit and then you sign up to do it some more. It ain't on him. It's on all you dopes.

Hes really just trolling.

Yes, I am putting him on ignore January 1st. It's my New Years resolution to not feed the trolls.

Why wait until then? Do it now and let the piece of shit talk to himself. This board is the only human interaction he gets outside of work so it's good to rob him of that.

I've hosted 2 events in the past month (1 over the weekend) where MANY HUMANS came out solely for the purpose of being around me dumbass! But keep checking for me and speculating on an anonymous message board what my social "interactions" happen to be creep If you had the sort of popularity which i enjoy they''d elect your sorry ass the MAYOR OF Bentonville

Caleb Williams let you down so now you're pissed at everyone who told you before all of this started that he was going to shit the bed. If you need a "support group" to help you drown in your sorrows, there are an endless supply of people around here for the job.

I feel pretty confident in saying that any person who watches any given Bears game and comes away thinking that Caleb Williams is primarily responsible for pressures turning into sacks is mentally retarded.

This is another instance of stat nerds jerking off into their computer fans. I grew up revering the sabermetric movement but goddamn I can see now why guys like Hawk (not THE Hawk) were royally pissed at some of their absurd conclusions and the credence they were given. To say nothing of the fact that using "hurries" or "pressure" stats as the bedrock of your analysis is actually indicative of the very problem the analytical movement was meant to solve, to wit: Was any baseball analysis based on "errors" taken seriously by these eggheads? Get back to your WoW raids you bunch of fucking dorks.

Hey dope. When you were told that Caleb was bumslaying you also "vehemently" disagreed.

10 games later it's obvious that he was "bumslaying".

Thanks, Radio, but he took the Vikings to OT, lost to the Commanders and Lions because of blatant head coaching malfunctions, and beat the division-leading LA Rams.

He's struggled at times, to be sure, but overall he's actually done pretty well with one of the worst o-lines in football and a bottom-third defense that lets opposing offenses hold the ball for an eternity, as well as a droppy receiving corps.

You're too technologically illiterate to play WoW, so I suggest you crack open a comic book and suck on your thumb until morning.

Hey clown. When you were told that he was bumslaying they'd avg 35 points during the 2 games

During the last 10 games they have avg 14 points. Definitely Bumslaying idi+t! But hey. You're rather stupid. And will just keep arguing. And arguing. And arguing What a dumbass!

The simplest stat out there is wins, and he doesn’t get any of those at all anymore.

-But the defense

Three points at home against New England, three points at home against the Seahawks…don’t tell me about defense

He's avg 14 ppg during the 10 game losing streak and just scored 3 points last night. And yet this buffoon still claims that he has done "pretty well".

And the dumbest part with all of this is that there are actually people here that validate this stupid shit by actually agreeing with this clown

By your logic Troy Aikman and Peyton Manning would have been busts and never amounted to anything based on their win totals their rookie season.

Well there’s a lot more wrong with Caleb than the team success. He’s worst thrower of football the NFL has seen in a good while, his accuracy is borderline historic in its badness.

But I was just responding to JLN who was like “ew advanced stats not for me just gimme the simple stuff yes please” as if Caleb Williams is just dominating somehow.

"Advanced stats" based on the football-equivalent of errors aren't really that advanced. It's a ratio that sounds smart to dumb people who want to think they're smart but, like strikeout-walk ratio, it's really nonsensical in what it actually measures.

K/BB ratio seems a fairly basic stat that tells a lot.

Can you further explain what you mean about stats based on errors and their non-sensical meaning?

It's literally "strikeouts per walk" but even a basic understanding of the game includes knowing that walking more batters doesn't mean more strikeouts, and a low strikeouts per walk figure doesn't necessarily mean that there are an inordinate number of walks allowed, nor does it indicate an ineffective pitcher overall.

As for errors, the sabermetric movement identified the stat and analysis relying on it to be near meaningless because the stat itself is a judgement call about defensive play made by, in most cases, a local sportswriter acting as the official scorekeeper. It robs a play of context.

Similarly, "pressure" or "hurry" stats are largely judgement calls made by non-standardized scorecard keepers that rob the play on the field of any context. So a "pressure" of a QB with a good offensive line might actually be a tackle gets beat at the top of the QBs drop and he has to step up a bit to go through progressions, and that is counted the same as both guards protecting Caleb Williams getting dusted at the snap and his left tackle getting his doors blown off. But which of the two situations is more likely to be converted into a sack?

Your first thought is insane, your second thought makes total sense. That doesn't happen much here.

I guess I should explain that nobody with a basic understanding of the game and the stat thinks that walking more batters means more strikeouts, and a low strikeouts per walk figure means that there are an inordinate number of walks allowed.

It's a power/stuff vs control stat. It doesn't pretend not to be. You got your Skubals and then you got your Kopechs. If you're sitting down to pick a closer, it's something you have to look at.
