Fans, I'm not sure there are a great deal of Kerry Sayers fans, but if you're planning to watch Comcast SportsNet tonight for the Blackhawks/Blues' game at United Center and tomorrow on "SportsNite" following college football via FOX Sports Net, you won't be seeing her anymore. The regional sports network has decided NOT to renew her contract, which is up this weekend. As far as I know, Kerry came to Chicago via FSN Northwest, where she was an anchor/reporter out in the Seattle area.

Harry must be on suicide watch.

He's also the same guy who wants the #17 of Mark Grace retired by the Cubs. Two words: FAT CHANCE!!! Didn't Harry hear what the ex-Cub said about his former team's latest postseason bellyflop? Are you kidding me? Meanwhile, "Mac" hopes that Kerry lands on her feet at one of the other local news stations in town.

I'd hate to think that the SHARK got his story wrong, but Sayers was all over the Hawks broadcast last night. Wrong again?

Kerry is scheduled to be on "SportsNite" late tonight at around 12:30a after Comcast SportsNet's coverage of Pac-10 football via FOX Sports Net. Other than that, Kerry is history. It was also revealed that Gail Fischer is getting married real, real soon...

Yes, MJH used to talk and joke about it and, if I remember correctly, Gail confronted Harry at some function they were at and asked him to please stop spreading the rumor, which apparently was not true.

Harry mentioned something about a week or two ago that Sarah Kustok, who co-hosts Comcast SportsNet's local version of "Beer Money" every Sunday, is believed to be in line to replace the Jenny Jones-looking Sayers. Sarah is also a feature reporter Friday night on CSN's "SportsNite: High School Lites" & also does some stuff on one of FOX 32's Web sites, LiveNewsCameras.com. That's the site where you can actually watch as many as 50 different FOX News feeds anytime, exclusively from your laptop.
