Picked up on that as soon as the Jets interviewed him. Kraft was then going to scoop him up halfway out of spiting the Jets.

Supposedly NE wants a Vrabel/McDaniels duo.

Uhh, is that Kevin Warren next to him in the suit? Why is he in the locker room handing out game balls and the GM is nowhere to be found? This whole process is going to be a massive clusterfuck.

One to go in circles on the stadium and another one to run the football team into the ground.

How many portraits of himself do you think Kevin Warren has commissioned? His house must be a cross between the Louvre and the Jesse White DMV.

Maybe it is a good sign that Poles will be let go

That one could have gone either way to me. The bottom never dropped out for them, but I figured hey, maybe Jim Irsay does a line while listening to "Highway Star" by Deep Purple, gets himself hyped up, and decides it's time to fire people.

It’ll be interesting to see what they do. Do they give up on Anthony Richardson with everyone’s jobs on the line or do they go ride or die?

It’s not a terribly strong division. I just don’t know who will be available to them.

If Minn goes away from Darnold the Colts should go after him

I think they’ll also be all over Kirk Cousins.

They're probably done with Richardson and will play it safe at quarterback. Easily the most forgettable team this season. Still beat the Bears, though.

If this is correct, I think we’re looking at a two horse race between Weaver and Flores:

Jags just announced they’re retaining Baalke.. Bears now have a leg up with Johnson. No way he’ll work with that asshat.

Let’s hope Weaver is nothing more than a Rooney rule satisfaction his defense got treated like a prostitute by a busted A-Rod last night

Bears are making it very obvious that they want Ben Johnson, likely will come down to whether or not they will let him bring in his own GM, there is no way that he would agree with Poles on roster construction.

It does sound like they're trying to interview anybody that will listen, which is smart. Not that they should want Kafka unless he bring in his old coach Fitz to run the D

i have no issue with interviewing a lot of people, provided you learn what outsiders think of your roster.

if you get 5 guys that can actually block decently i think any new HC will look good.

Although Kafka would be cool just for the nerdy FF VI jokes.
