The definition of “out of town stupid”. You are wrong about both the numbers and his overall performance. Other than that, great post.

Are you in a town where he didn't throw 3 interceptions in his last game and lost to the bears the prior week?

So in your life if you had 2 HVAC performances and didn’t live up to expectations, you are fucked for life?

He's younger than some humans and older than others. Still, the Packers probably going to DiCaprio him for Arch Manning soon.

So Arch is going to drop terribly bad in next years draft, interesting thought.

Now about 40 interceptions not during Toyotathon.

It sounds like the Packer fans are getting a bit defensive over this dog of a contract for their QB1*

You seem to have a Mike North level of understanding of the Cap. I posted this in another thread but it’s easier to cut and paste.

Love’s cap hit in both 2025 & 2026 is 16th among QBs. He currently is 10th in 2027, but that will almost certainly change when the next crop of QBs hit the market.

The Pack is going to come back even younger. Shithead Alexander pretty much packed his locker for the last time today, Myers is probably leaving (though the brutal interior backups from yesterday may make them reconsider) and grizzled 26 yr old McDuffie probably leaves as well.

Despite the string of injuries they should keep Alexander. When healthy he’s still a top cb - which may be their weakest position. His injuries have been unrelated to each other and I think it’s worth the risk. They can draft his replacement for 2026. Assuming Morgan comes back healthy they can let Myers go and pick up some depth in the mid rounds.

He probably remembers Jay Cutler's career.

Love somehow had a lower rating than Brett Favre in a playoff game where Favre threw 6 interceptions.

3 of those 6 were pick sixes too. Another point illustrating why people have moved away from qb rating when analyzing QB performance.

No statistic is perfect but in that example it also does a good job of showing that both of them played terrible games. I doubt any other statistical measure would have been much difference when you go for 0 touchdowns and 3 interceptions.

Favre's QBR and EPA/Play would have been much worse. Again, showing how those stats weigh context better than qb rating. But yeah Love had a bad game against Philly, of course stats are going to reflect that. It wasn't worse than a 6 pick, 3 pick sixes game.

In this example, probably correct.

But EPA is also going to be wrong too sometimes. Like, the one in 2023 that said Lamar Jackson and Justin Herbert were slightly worse than Deshaun Watson.

But even if we go with that, Taylor and your guy Derek Carr are way ahead of both.
