Favre's QBR and EPA/Play would have been much worse. Again, showing how those stats weigh context better than qb rating. But yeah Love had a bad game against Philly, of course stats are going to reflect that. It wasn't worse than a 6 pick, 3 pick sixes game.
In this example, probably correct.

But EPA is also going to be wrong too sometimes. Like, the one in 2023 that said Lamar Jackson and Justin Herbert were slightly worse than Deshaun Watson.

Watson was below Lamar and Herbert in 2023 EPA/Play.

But even if we go with that, Taylor and your guy Derek Carr are way ahead of both.

Yeah you can pick nits with any one stat. That's why I've said repeatedly if you are going to use stats to evaluate these guys, use all of them. It's pretty easy to cherry pick a couple stats if you have an agenda, like the following example:

Quote:
4 QBs finished the 2024 season with 3,500+ pass yds, 20+ pass TDs, and a less than 1.3 interception percentage:

- Lamar Jackson
- Josh Allen
- Justin Herbert

…and Caleb Williams. Pretty good company for the rookie.

Quote:
Since 2000, only 3 QBs had:
•10+ starts
•Sack rate >10%
•Yds/att below 6.5
•Fewer than 7 INTs

Caleb Williams (2024)
Tim Tebow (2011)
Akili Smith (2000)

Not in EPA/play.

If we are bringing up past examples of bad playoff games by HOFers, Love's QB rating this past weekend was better than Peyton Manning's in 2003 when he lost 41-0 to the Jets in the playoffs. Does this mean anything? No. Makes you think though - both had bad games.

Fields looking decent here. Now do 2024 and see where the primadonna stacks up.

Are you referring to Caleb as the primadonna? Here's 2024 though

Did La Fleur de Least lose the locker room? Some word creeping out from solid people (relative to being a packer) that there was some rot in the locker room that hurt the team.

I think Kraft will be a great TE, but he's got Leadership Council douchebag vibes.

Musgrave has a lot more talent, when healthy, so he can be a leader of the scout team

I would take take his words at face value. "I will" and "same wavelength as me" isn't a council meeting.

The Jets are interviewing Hafley. Seems like a long shot but the Jets are an odd lot.

That seemed very direct and sincere....he is seething and trying to keep his composure.
