Series premiere dropping December 3rd. A bit skeptical about this one as Disney has had some trouble with some of these off shoot series but this one is giving me some Goonies vibes which isn't necessarily a bad thing.

This preview is an absolute abomination. The only thing that could make it worse is an appearance by Stacey Dales.

It's not marketed for us. Disney is clearly trying to reset the fan base to anyone but white males and fails on every attempt.

Might as well just rebrand the whole franchise and call it Star Woks and Friends.

The Star Wars machine doesn’t slow down even when their projects fail.

This is grifting off the heels of “Stranger Things”, which I imagine these days is hanging by a thread as they continue to put their last (supposedly) season on hold. Which, when released, will most likely be split into 2 or 3 parts.

Stranger Things was smart enough to appeal to our 1980's nostalgia that kept my attention for 1 1/2 Seasons. Star Wars just...

Caught the first two episodes. I thought for a kids series it has been pretty decent, fun and harmless. The action sequences have been pretty tame as expected. I’m a bit more interested to find out why everyone is not believing where the kids are from.

It used to be that the Star Wars Christmas Special was the standard for bad star wars off shoots. It's not even in the conversation any more.

The production design, overall look, and "fun" of it is (so far) overcoming the fairly average writing. Nick Frost's pirate droid being named Smee (SM-33) amuses me. The kids are surprisingly not annoying as actors. The blue elephant kid is cooler than Baby Yoda.

Because it's a mythical treasure planet I assume

Max Rebo's family is watching something from the Christmas Special in the first episode.

Through episode 4 and it is just ok. I like the characters for the most part but just hoping they find a bit more action, even if it is on the unbelievable side.

This one just keeps plugging along. I certainly don't hate it but I also don't get super excited about it either. They still have 3 more episodes to tell this tale, at least I would assume this would be a one and done series the way it is going thus far.

I think it's been pretty good, better than any other Disney Star Wars TV other than Mando season 1 and Andor

I have enjoyed the show. It is not great but decent enough entertainment.

A good ending for a good show, although maybe the finale could have used a few more minutes. I appreciate they successfully fought the urge to needlessly tie it in to a bunch of other Star Wars stories/characters and let it stand on its own.

Looking forward to seeing the finale. I think it has been fine as a kid driven show, but still leaves me wanting more.

KD I agree with you. It turned out to be a solid show overall. I thought about it and if they have a season two when the kids are like high school age they could potentially make it interesting with some good writing. I found the kids annoying at times but they could continue to make this into something with new actors.

It helped it was a kid’s show that didn’t try to be something else. There’s nothing wrong with kids shows. Star Wars was a great kid’s show and Attack of the Clones wasn’t. The kids acted like kids, when they were the Ancient Elders they acted like kids. When they were on the child soldier planet they didn’t magically become grizzled warriors, they acted like kids. When they got home, they acted like kids. Braver kids, but still kids. At the end Wim looked up at the X-Wings in the sky and thought they were cool, like kids used to think about Star Wars.
