2025 season tees off today out in Hawaii. Should be interesting to see if Scottie Scheffler is still the man. He will miss the first few events after cutting his hand over the holidays. 98 days until first round of The Masters.

Some incredible scoring the first two days, I watched about an hour yesterday. Straka birdied 10-16 and then parred the last two. Nice to see Zalatoris in the mix, apparently he put on 20 lbs of muscle to help combat his back issues. Should be a pretty good weekend.

-35 wins. Matsuyama looked unstoppable. Morikawa also looking to be someone to reckon with early in the season.

The course is way to easy for the guys now, but I hope they don't change venues. It's a fun watch.

There was zero wind, which is very unusual. Can’t control Mother Nature.

Looked like an awesome finish at the Sony but I really didn't tune into it too much this weekend.

I watched because my buddy had $5 Nick Taylor to win to pay $550. He kept asking if he should cash out - I told him to let it ride. What a way to win - crazy!

Walked up to the tee -6, feeling ok about the tournament. Walked off the green +2, swearing at Pete Dye under his breath.... Hit two balls in the water on the next hole, because why not.

Likely watch a bit of the final round being played tomorrow. A lot of WDs this week before and during tournament. Max Homa off to a tough start this season after changing equipment to Cobra.

I will likely tune in for some golf this weekend at Pebble. Pretty strong field and always a fun watch at this track. Scheffler back after his hand injury healed.

Now a signature event with only 80 players. I assume they still have the pro-am aspect of it though, but I'm not sure.

No cut this week so nice for guys like Scheffler and Spieth who might be a bit rusty.

If they are going to have no cut in one of these they should let a guy with a 10 handicap play too just to see how it goes.

 Hasn't the play been slow enough with the pros? Over 5.5 hours to play the final round last week. Ugh....

I was today years old when I discovered that Terry Gannon from the NBC/ Golf Channel broadcast team is the same Terry Gannon from Jimmy V’s 83 NC State champs

I wouldn't have guessed he's old enough. Looks like a young 61.

How this course changed in a matter of minutes is crazy, going from eagles and birdies to holding on.

I remember way too many matches or tournaments with the towels in the umbrella and trying to stay warm. Looks kinda miserable out there but still a lot of nice shots.

Me too, and ziploc bag of golf gloves and extra towels. All the while managing the umbrella, conditions and trying to play. Fucking Miserable!!!
