Met M_C for the first time tonight and enjoyed hanging with
him at Shoeless Joe's. Seems like a really fun guy to hang out
with. Can't comment on much beyond that but he is definitely
one of the guys....

My fair and honest critique of the competition...

Me - Okay, so I have played a little basketball in my life. I thought I was going to be really bad so I held off shooting for a while. I had two good drives, one of which left W_Z pantless. By the last few games though, I was pretty much useless. Twice I had a one-on-one that I traveled horribly on. Then Kid Cairo's passes started just blowing right through my hands. I need to get in shape.

Hawkeye Vince - I thought he was quietly really good. He has good vision, including a pass that I will praise a little later.

City of Fools - Now that i know you a little better, if you dribble that shit in front of me like that again, Im gonna run you over. Nothing personal Seriously though, good handle on the dribble and a high energy guy.

Killer V - Damn impressive on a few occasions my friend. He got the white guy alley-oop from a great Hawkeye Vince pass and I could only stare in awe. He had to be top 3 guy out there.

T-Bone - He has a hell of a game. Tough inside, getting a lot of boards. He has a great shot too. He had me beat a few times early.

W_Z - One name. Larry Hughes. I think he had 17 shots in the first game, none of them went in. Then in the second game, I just said screw it, let him shoot out there uncontested. What does he do? STARTS HITTING! He was running all over the place. Gotta give props for running into that wall.

Spanky - How many 3s did he drain? He also had a bit of problem with those damned elbows

Conns7901 - Damned lefties! Same as Spanky, hitting 3s all over my ass. Next Hoops, 3s are outlawed.

Krazy Ivan - Hey, you wont guess this one. Another 3 shooter! Actually, good inside too. Had quite a few strong rebounds.

Darren - Tinley Park - He came a bit later, but he is a pretty solid guy bringing the ball up and giving the rock. Did you take many shots?

Kid Cairo - Also showed up a little later. I think he had about 5 potential assists to be me, and I made good on 1. Yeah. Not good. Not a great outside shot, but was good off the dribble and getting inside. Next time he should wear a g-string so that when W_Z is feeling him up, he can get a few one dollar bills in the process

M_C - You are so white! Just kidding man. You had quite a few inside baskets. We gotta work on that dribble though.

Short version of the story was I talked to Goff on Wednesday and he and Webby were interested but had some night of drinking and card playing planned. I trade texts with him Saturday and he was waiting to hear from Webby since Webby was his ride and of course, he mst not have heard from him. He did say he'd be interested in getting together at another game the next time.
