By his picture Messengers kids are probably 30 to 40 years old. The wise man should have said your adult kids in his threat then it's a big nothing.

I already told you that he got severance. He got a percentage of his remaining contract.

Does being MAGA make you stupid, or are only stupid people MAGA? Or both?

Aren’t you the poster who told us he was only suspended? Who you crappin’?

I am pretty far from being MAGA.

Yup.

Sittin' in the mornin' sun
I'll be shittin' when the evenin' comes
Watching the tweets roll in
And then I watch them troll away again, yeah

I'm sittin' on the dock of the bay
Watching the pike roll away
I'm just sittin' on the dock of the bay
Killin' pike

I left my home in Deerfield
Headed for the spawning bay
Everything to live for
My pronouns are he / they

So I'm just gonna sit on the dock of the bay
Thinking that pike I landed's gay
I'm just going to call it a bass
Tweetin' time

Look like everything's gonna change
Nothing ever remains the same
I can't do what ten people tell me to do
So I guess I'll dox kids names.....

Anyone else follow John "Rock" Mamola? He had a post today with a picture of 670 the Score and said tomorrow to pay attention to BaretMedia.com or follow them on social media

Any clue what this is in reference to?

The guy was an asshole. Occasionally, he was funny, and sometimes he was perceptive.

But that's about it--and he pushed everyone away from whatever was enjoyable about him. Listening to those old clips, not all of them hold up. He was petty and joyless. He'd destroy a good time just to show he was right about some arcane detail. He played that game where the person he spoke to was missing a bit of the context. Like an interrogator, he relied on sowing confusion and a rapid succession of questions about minor points made to seem major by his raised voice. And eventually, all that was replaced by suburban wokeness. Fun.

Fuck this hyper-sensitive, moody bantamweight.

Barett Media is run by a radio consultant focusing in sports talk, he's got a LOT of friends in the industry. Usually he breaks down Chicago market ratings when they come out on their quarterly (?) schedule as he has access to the key demo figures.

Other than Dan giving an interview about why he was fired, I can't imagine what else it would be besides a ratings breakdown showing Dan was "killing it". No way the station would run to him to put out a piece on their new lineup.

If the remains of the Score's airstaff were not at liberty to discuss "the events of the past two weeks," there's no way the various lawyers involved would let Dan himself go on the record about what happened. I think we'll get some longform piece about the whole thing, likely heavy on deep-background sources and unnamed coworkers saying nice and mean things in equal measure (except Jason, who will go on the record to say "no comment").

By now, you have all seen the news about 670 The Score host Dan Bernstein, who was let go after 30 years with the station following a recent incident involving a follower on X. What is rarely discussed in these crisis situations is the impact on salespeople, who must pick up the pieces with advertisers left behind by the host.

"Perhaps the real victim in all this was the sales team." Senor Columnist would be proud.

They're running ads for Candy Crush over the AM airwaves, not even on the podcasts. The podcasts have even better ads, California Psychics being one.

I think the sales people would've had enough trouble keeping Better Help as a sponsor with Bernstein demonstrating in his online mental breakdown how useless their therapy services are.

This is why we're really missing ZephMarshack and Dave in Champaign: every single detail of this story is fraught with cosmic irony.

The "Crisis PR" angle is likewise and unwitting tribute to Bernstein. Speaking of which, do Crisis PR firms represent Crisis Actors?

Sure, maybe they do like the PC firms and government hire the best hackers.

EVERY. SINGLE. DETAIL! A TV show couldn't wrap up this many loose ends in one series finale without everyone calling it hack shit.

edit: nevermind, this shook loose from my memory but this quickly-failed sitcom premise was they were ad agents, not crisis PR agents
