I see Flagg as a high floor, lower ceiling guy.

He's one of those kids who has come close maxing out his skills at a young age.

I don't think he'll be a scoring superstar, but he could be the best all-around player on a good team.

His defense is outstanding, and he's a good all-around offensive player.

He won't lead the league in scoring, though.

It's just way too early to make any prediction. He's not Lebron or Kobe, for sure.

It's too early to make a prediction on how good he will be, but his style clearly resembles a versatile wing player with few weaknesses but a lack of top-level scoring ability.

His ceiling would be someone like Scottie Pippen rather than a pure scorer, IMO.

And at the risk of offending Dan Bernstein, he has been a winner everywhere he's been at this point. I believe that matters.

Would be awesome if we had more rajingsoul (unless he is a CH mult and breaks my heart, a la Danny B.)

Potential scoring ability. That's where I totally disagree. Air ball Kobe came in with the same critique. He was 18 also. He's just a baby. He needs 2 years of high level training and competition to begin to assess his scoring ability.

I have every penny to my name invested in Tennessee.

If this goes sideways, my kids might not eat for weeks.

This is the time you make a live bet on the Vols and hope for a miracle like they get as hot shooting three’s as they have been cold so far.

Not if you doubled down on the +16.5 at half.

I got Duke at +250, but I'm nervous about Houston. Those guys are phenomenal rebounder and defenders

How do you have Duke at +250? They're the favorite by 5 points.

No wonder you lost all your money....At some point in the past, he bought Duke at 250 to win it all. Today it's +105.

I think Houston has been smashing inferior dudes' shit in. Let's see them smash Duke's shit in. This isn't your father's Duke. Not near as gay.

because it's houston they arent getting the respect they deserve. they've been doing this all year to everyone they've played. duke hasnt seen anything like houston. if duke can survive the first 10 minutes they'll be ok. feels like houston and duke are the 2 clear best teams and the other 2 are distant 3rd and 4th

Obviously, I was wrong about Tennessee beating them, but I still have doubts about Houston. I think Duke will beat them handily.

Houston has the best defense in the country, but they also play at a very slow pace. They are very good at it, so it does disrupt even very good teams.

But Duke just has too much talent on both ends. They are also exceptional defensively, but they have the offensive weaponry to play any style. I don't think it'll be very close, but again, I've been wrong about Houston many times, so who knows.

I would rank the remaining four Duke, Florida, Houston, Auburn.

You could always hedge your Duke bet with a small money line play on Houston.

dude just stop. The kid should be in high school right now and you're calling him a low ceiling guy. Such a stupid take.

Low ceiling was a bad term.

I don't see him being an elite scorer.

But fuck you anyway.

I am a part of a bracket contest that one of our coaches at school runs. It is a little different. You pick games through the final four and then the top 4 scores get to pick one of the final 4 teams and that if your team wins it then you win the majority of the money. I finished 2nd so I will get the 2nd pick of the final 4 teams. First place person has until Wednesday morning to make their pick. I am assuming this person will pick Duke. Trying to think through which team I want to pick. I have been pretty high on Florida, but man they have been really close to losing the last 2 rounds.

Whoever you take, the moment he says Duke, you pump your fist and go FUCK YEAH! I got ______! Then Connor MacGregor out the room. Once you're out and down the hall, yell TOO EASY. Do donuts in the parking lot while playing Enter Sandman.

Or not

That's an interesting approach....kind of fun.
I have FL and Houston in the finals, but yeah.... FL has been way too dramatic in their wins.
