Some people are just born to be wrong. It's weird. TGL truly works in mysterious ways.

Morez Johnson to Michigan so we get to see him a few times a year, and Booth went to Colorado State ( oh well ). Ty Rodgers did officially announce he will be back for the Illini from his redshirt year so that is a bit of good news.

It's possible that more and more people get sick of the portal and NIL. With college tuition going up and the Feds and states putting in less and less, more and more people are already bitter. Students are getting sick of having new teams every year (in the past week, I've read a few student-written editorials lamenting the lack of emotional investment in one-and-done lineups) while they participate in Hunger Games at halftime for a thousand dollars off tuition.

The word team has zero meaning. That's fucked up. I am not saying to go back to the other way, where you are basically a slave, but this is fucked up. Swing the pendulum back a little. Or better yet, get rid of college sports if this is how it is going to be.

if you want consistency follow DePaul. Doesn't matter what the names on the back say, the team is finishing last.

Dra Gibbs-Lawhorn is now in the portal. He had some chances to break into the regular rotation early in the season but just never got in all that much when his play cooled off and Boswell just plain started outplaying him. No huge loss, good luck to him.

Kylan was great. He really was.

Dix from Iowa passes on the Illini and Hoosiers for Creighton.

I think....I am kind of sick of college hoops.

Sounded like Dix had some family concerns and wanting to be closer to home.

They did get the best player from Drake who came with McCollum. He looked great in the couple games in the tournament.

Combs--oh, ok, I actually remember him. A former student goes to Drake,so I tuned in a few times and then they played well the the tournament. That makes it a little better for them, because they looked to be becoming what Minnesota has become the last ten years.

Nice to have two 7 footers. The incoming brother is not quite as good as the one we have but I did see him during the Arkansas game and has some decent skills.
