I disagree that Shane was entertaining, but definitely agree that Laurence was always going to kill any 'collective'. Never made sense to have Laurence try to fit in an existing show structure, it went as well as him fitting in size 34 waist pants.

I agree this is a Holmes thing. Does anyone remember last week when Holmes said he dumped something because "you can't go there." I believe Shane said something, Laurence (not the producer) dumped it ... And I listened for any tension after but heard none. Still, I wonder if that's a something. The show was fun but Holmes never has been.

Read the prior posts….yes we know what happened. Unfortunately Barstool loses its second insider. There is only one left. But the hard work has been done as Bernsie was mission one, and the Holmes split was mission two. They won both. The rot is taking hold faster than expected. Portnoy wins as usual.

Shane loved playing on the score soft ball team. He was like the leader of that team. They could still let him play despite being fired I suppose.

I had to quit that show weeks ago because Laurence just couldn't help himself. The 'most enlightened takes in the room attitude' for basic things really added too much annoyance to the boredom.

Larry stayed with the company line that they mutually parted ways. Speigel referenced it as a "management decision"....wonder if that will get him in some hot water. It was clearly Shane being fired no matter how they want to spin it.

Larry is reading the Internet on the Shane issue. He was very specific that him and Shane did not get along early on, but that Shane did him a solid by inviting him to the softball team when he was at his lowest moment. Larry was making it clear that him and Shane were work friendly….
