There should be a lot to discuss. Yesterday was a flood of activity.

I really like the Metcalf move a lot.

Patiently waiting for that huge Justin Fields contract deal to be announced. Teams should be lighting up his agents phone trying to get him locked up after that monster year he had in PITT last year!

It’s looking like Aaron Rodgers to the Steelers.

Steelers believe so much in Fields that they are going to roll out the corpse of Rodgers

Vikings add Jonathan Allen. They are going to be very formidable if Dallas Turner gets it together in year two. That’s no given, but he’s still younger than almost all the defensive end prospects in this year’s draft and I think his issue last year was just lack of bulk.

The Commanders quickly turned around the strength of their team a couple of years ago, the DL. Only Payne remains of what was an all star cast

Well I’d rather have Jer’zhan Newton or Mike Sainistril than Montez Sweat. Depending how you want to look at that trade they got one of those two on rookie deals in exchange for a player that had only about ten good games left in him when they dealt him.

I think they maybe cut loose Allen too early, but with Newton in the fold and a need for a left tackle they made an informed decision. Frankie Luvu was a second-team all-pro this past season and one of the best blitzers in the league, honestly I’m not even sure they are worse rushing the passer now than they were three years ago. Maybe because they lost Allen? It’s close.

Btw- in “actual lessons in how to replenish you talent and build a roster” the comp picks already have Pittsburgh due a 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th round pick, SF due three 4th’s and a 5th and Philly due a 3rd, 4th and 6th. And there’s still Javon Hargreaves and Mekhi Beckton on the market.

Bears? Nothing. Nobody has signed Teven Jenkins yet, who knows if anyone really wants him. If they do get a pick it will get cancelled out anyways.

Franchise going nowhere.

cowboys get goerge pickens for a 3rd and 5th. last time the steelers let go a nut job WR it didnt end well. but still given his age and talents, seems like a reasonable gamble for dallas. and if used correctly could help free up space for CeeDee. but for the cowboys to win a title they need everything around dak to be perfect (line, RB too)

The Bears paid thirty-second overall for Chase Claypool and the Cowboys got a significantly better talent with a better attitude for way less.

Not by much.

At least Pickens seems to care.

He had a lot of no effort clips out there last year.

I’m going to guess that attitude doesn’t improve in Dallas.

We’ll see if Pickens just decides to quit football this year. As of now he hasn’t stooped to Claypool’s level.

Puts a ton of pressure on the Saints’ 30yr old rookie QB.
