I don't think they were gassed...I do think Lebron is markedly different game to game from last year.

I absolutely believe aspects of Tim Donahy's book (misspelled?) and fully expect tonight's ref's to be armed to favor the Lakers. That's why I'm always surprised. Kings/Lakers series ruined me.

Refs for the most part letting them hold, push, and hand check. Been enjoyable.

NBA wanted a short Knicks series. I figure they want the Lakers but they are wise enough to know the best player on the floor and a top 3 in the league plays for the Wolves. I also almost had a heart attack went Ant went down. I thought for sure it was his knee.

I'm really really shocked that the Wolves are up 3-1. Lakers can't possibly lose tonight, can they?

Keeping AD would have done nothing for LA, he'd be in street clothes right now. But I think the Lakers are finding that despite his greatness, Luka causes more problems than he solves.

The NBA playoffs exposes guys. Luka is one of those guys. Doris Burke, who never met an NBA superstar player that she didn't just love, even had to comment on how Randle and AntMan were lining him up on defense Monday.

There may be 10 guys in the league I'd rather have, right now anyway, than JB Doncic. His feet alone must weigh 35 lbs a piece the way he moves on the defensive end. Now he has a fat spasm and is questionable for the second half.

Minnesota committed to taking some absolutely terrible three-point shots tonight.

Are the Lakers done with LeBron after this?

I'm no great observer of the NBA but it seems like the "LeBron is great because he made it to the Finals a lot" seems to have gone away once he left Cleveland.

Went away after he went to the West. East was weak for years when he was in Cleveland and then when the competition got too rough for Lebron he joined them instead of beating them.

The Mavs were right to sell high on Luka Doncic, the problem is with getting a constantly injured Anthony Davis and not an entire literal boatload of draft picks.

I don’t think LeBron retires. He’s such an attention whore and it would just be met with a shrug now. Nobody cares. I think he’ll ring chase. We’ll see.

I regretted having money on the lakers almost immediately. I just waited for the ref induced run and cashed out at even and turned around and put it on the Wolves. Pretty damn lucky I even had the chance. Thank God the Lakers can't play a lick of defense and the 4-25 from the the Wolves guards didn't even matter. A normal night and the Wolves would have had 140 pts.

that was actually the other good call i made- took the 1Q over at 51.5 and it hit....stayed away from the full game which would not have.

My thoughts exactly. Huge size advantage and Rudy was cooking as only a Rudy Gobert can cook by converting his dunks and layups and they proceed to jack 3s all game long.

I've rarely been happier to be wrong. I really thought the NBA would save their bacon for one more game.

Mavs-Lakers...the rare trade where both teams got a bad deal.

Rudy is truly a challenged player though. Something's wrong with his hands, he routinely can't grab rebounds fully and gets blocked by people who have no business blocking or altering his shot.

Against that lineup the Lakers were playing he'd give ya an easy 20 just from hanging around the rim

The irony is that Luka will need a Davis like Robin if he’s ever going to win a championship.

You can have your primary scorer be a bad defender. Plenty of teams have won that way. He needs to stop being both bad and lazy and then needs somebody elite behind him when his guy inevitably blows right past him.

Game 7 guys.

Clippers @ Nuggets.

Nuggets still only favored by 1.5. I can't understand why Clippers were more favored in this series. Even though Nuggets blew em out in Game 5.

58-47 Denver at the half.

I took Nuggets moneyline parlayed with the 207.5 over.

Harden is always foul hunting. Which is why he always struggles in Game 7's. The refs aren't going to give you bailout foul calls in Game 7's

Most of America's rooting for LeBron to get eliminated from the playoffs. Once that happens it doesn't really matter who wins for fans who don't have a rooting interest..

Atkinson needs to get his shit together. That said, they missed Garland terribly. +8.5 seemed like a layup and it was.

Not only does he lose his initial defend, he then loses the secondary. There's just no way to hide him. I thought Irving was a terrible defender.

That and the constant ref arguments are a distraction for him.

boston to win the east is still only at -165. none of these 3 teams is going to beat a healthy boston. i might wait to see if the knicks somehow steal game one and then bet boston to win the east.

im surprised to see the nuggets are +1100 to win the conference and Thunder are -240. I may place a wager on the nuggets to hedge my thunder title future.
