Yep. They are so good, and the equipment is so good, that outside of something setup like the US Open, it’s not a challenge. The average TPC course just can’t hold up.

“Easiest” fix (and I’m sure there are 100 reasons it’s not easy) would be coming up with a tour/pro level ball that doesn’t go so far. Then you don’t have guys hitting driver, 7 iron into 540 yard par 5’s. Tball through college uses metal/composite bats. You make the pros, and it’s wood.

Easiest fix is making every course firm and fast with wind and rough but can’t control Mother Nature.

So far, looks like another -20 (or more) winner, and that's on a par 70 with two par 5's.

Apparently one of the shortest courses of the year. Mitchell crushed the previous course record by like 4 shots.
