Playing for the irrelevant White Sox Benintendi flies under the radar for worst Sox or Cubs free agent of all time. 685 ops as a Sox. Too many fly balls falling on the warning track over his head. Reputation as a loafer. Schriffen and Stone prop him up with small sample size successes. He'd be torched by the media if the Cubs had signed him.

God damn is this team pathetic. Sox up going into bottom of the ninth. Closer, whoever the fuck that guy is, walks the lead-off guy. Another guy gets on after a pop up to second base bounces off his head. Another error on a hit up the middle and the Sox find another way to lose. Seems like the best chance the Sox have of winning is for a rain shortened game to keep anything Ethan Katz touches off the mound.

That was disgusting. I was watching that game thinking "damn. This has been a well-played tight game," and was then treated to that shit show.

We'll be seeing that play for quite some time. Priceless.

Bottom 9 pure gold. Hit on the coconut on the pop-up. Then the outfielder throws it away easy force out. Third base too deep on a bunt. Robert for some reason though it had no effect on the outcome slaps down the final fly ball instead of catching it. Boozer the pitcher stares a hole through him. Fun, fun, fun!!!

I can't see the rest of the situation but why wasn't that an infield fly rule?

Lack of integrity for the game. What if Witt is in the hunt for the batting title with this gifted hit.

If we are that worried about making the out there just have him play on the warning track instead of short center. That catch didn’t mean a thing. The White Sox organization is ruining the integrity of the game, not one player.

Well, Scot has been more worried about the White Sox for MANY years.

Last night was objectively hilarious. Almost the exact same thing happened at my kid's little league game on Monday (ball off glove, kid falls down, another picks up the ball and throws it over the 3B dugout. You expect that with 7-8yr olds in Pinto, not in MLB.

This shitshow and a baseball strike is Jerry's legacy. One season with a playoff series win in 41+ years as an owner is far worse than anything good he did with the Bulls. No owner has done less with more in the history of sports than Jerry Reinsdorf.

No one cares. We got the Pope. The clock on 2005 was about to run out but now it's extended until 2035.

Elko is coming up. They should ride him until his bat cools off and send him back down.

Fantastic. Jake Burger II. Does every team have a glut of no defense, low walk, high K guys, or do we just lead the league in it?

He's not a long term solution to anything. In about a month, he'll be hitting .206 with a k percentage of about 30.

At 11-29, the Sox matched the worst 40-game start in franchise history — sharing the mark with the 2018 club. Last year’s team, which went on to lose a modern-day MLB record 121 games, began 12-28.

They went on to 3 double digit losing streaks. 50 wins this year is a lock. They're 6-10 over the last couple weeks and starting to throw the ball over the plate. It will still be iffy until September where they may win 10 games that month. Big game today. They can win the series.

Pre-Pope stats don’t count.
