NBA coaches are dropping like flies these days

I suppose they weren't even competitive in some games which is usually the kiss of death, but what exactly did he have to work with? Kevin Martin has missed a good chunk of the season and while John Salmons has been playing pretty well, they also gave a lot of cash to Beno Udrih in the offseason coming off a career year (in other words some questionable signings). Seems more like personnel issues than coaching issue to me.

Reggie Theus had very little to work with, and the Sacramento Kings' expectations this season in a top-heavy Western Conference were very minimal at best. It's hard to believe, but Reggie is already the 6th NBA head coach to lose his job this season. One of the 6, the Minnesota Timberwolves, face the Kings tonight at ARCO Arena. Like Theus out in Sacramento, Randy Wittman was fired by the T-Wolves in favor of Kevin McHale...I wonder who's next to lose his job... :roll:

What the hell did I say that was wrong? I've got to think despite a 4 game winning streak, the Grizzlies' Marc Iavaroni, the Bill O'Reilly-looking Jim O'Brien with the Pacers, the "Opie"-looking Lawrence Frank with the Nets, the Hawks' Mike Woodson, the Clippers' Mike Dunleavy & the John Lithgow-looking George Karl with the Nuggets are other candidates to possibly lose their jobs in a league with not much job security anymore...
