Parkman went to the playoffs 2 years in a row for 2 different teams. He Clearly goes in ahead of Santo.

I think Santo should realize he's fighting a losing battle, trying to gain the acceptance of contemporaries who never liked him and never will, and that he doesn't need that validation when he's as beloved as he is by millions of Cubs fans for his play and his certain brand of game analysis. I mean, he's said as much to us, hasn't he? Surely he meant it when he said Wrigley was his Hall of Fame, didn't he? I think he may have crossed the line into grandstanding, as it were, with the Cooperstown stuff, but unlike the south side knuckle-draggers, I haven't it in me to derive pleasure from a bunch of stupid old jocks getting off one last round of shit-talking to an elderly diabetic amputee.

It's Santo, it's one of the Cubs living mascots. The plight of Ronnie is great pub.

I mean it is not as good as Southpaw or his parents Ribbie and Rhubarb, but close!

Nuke some popcorn and pop the tab on a diet Ginger Ale. Somebody will bite on that piece of bait...

Nor the lonely presence of a modern day WS trophy, or Minnie Minoso in a WS parade saying his heart of full of happiness...but who's keeping score :P

And so far, it has been plucked with admirable restraint and tact. I'm almost disappointed.

I'm quite surprised he spelled 'rhubarb' correctly.

I'm surprised you didn't mention that you had to look it up to make sure.

Lipidquadcab + Frank = MATCH!

At least, I think I have the players right.

I bet Torre knew he wasn't going to get in, but just said he was just to fuck with him. They can see how pathetic he's gotten.
