***Bowl Games Everyday Except X-mas Day, NFL Sun. Only***

This weekly wagering contest will reward the best football prognosticator with a $100 gift certificate from a meat/steak company. New guys can still join in any time and you don't have to make a pick every week. Post them all at once or in separate posts, but they must be posted in the current week's contest thread. Post your plays any time, but they must be posted before a game you are playing kicks off. You must make your picks in this thread and you must provide at least one reason for each pick. Minimum 50 picks to qualify by the end of the contest.

***Note: There is 1 week left in the NFL regular season games. The final week of the contest will be college only, Dec.30-Jan.8. The final game is the matchup of Big 12 Champ Oklahoma Sooners against the SEC Champ Florida Gators, who are around 3 point favorites from what I see. The total is 70+. Good Luck everybody!

From thegreek.com:

Notre Dame (-2.5) over Hawaii
If Weis can't get his team to beat the Rainbows, then he really doesn't deserve to coach at ND.

Florida State (-5.5) over Wisconsin
I like the Seminoles in a "home" game over a Badgers team that underachieved throughout the year.

Over 49 Nd/Hawaii

Lowest pts scored in the last 4 Hawaii bowls has been 65. Gotta think the genius at ND with all this time will be able to get his team into the 30's at least. Hawaii should also be able to put up some pts so over it is.

West Virginia -2.5 vs North Carolina- I like Pat White to go 4-0 in bowl games, should be a good game.

Wisconsin +6 vs Florida State- I think Wisconsin controls this game on the ground, and control FSU's offense.

Miami +10 vs Californina- I think the Canes are better with Harris starting, and they always have defense, so I love the Canes.

Raiders +13 vs Buccanneers- I think the Buccanneers do win, but by less than 13.

Lions +11 vs Packers- I hope the Lions win, nobody should go 0-16.

Cowboys +1 vs Eagles- With all the turmoil, I think Dallas does enough to win and make the playoffs.

Texans -3 vs Bears- Sorry Bears fans, the Texans finish the season at .500.

Last one for the NFL

Broncos +9 vs Chargers- If Cutler plays well, the Broncos can win, and with all the comments the Chargers have made, I think he will.

The Bowl Game

Lousiana Tech -1.5 vs Northern Illinois- DOn't know much about teams, but La Tech from the Wac puts up points.

Week 18 We'll Take A Cup O' Kindness Yet

Oakland @ Tampa Bay -13

Raiders have their four wins for the season, TB playing for their playoff hopes.

Detroit +11 @ Green Bay

At least the Lions didn't go 0-16 ATS. Pack hang on as to not live in infamy.

Dallas +1 @ Philly

The Phillies won the World Series, that'll keep you warm all winter long.

NY Football Giants +7 @ Minnesota

Tom Coughlin coaches up David Carr. Vikings experience pucker factor of 7.

Chicago +3 @ Houston

Been a fan of Steve Slaton since WV days, but Forte runs wild on a good surface, finally.

Carolina -1 @ New Orleans

Brees gets the passing record, cause he'll be down two TD's the whole of the second half.

St. Louis +14 @ Atlanta

Rams are trying for their third win of the season. Falcons take it down a notch 'cause they play at Bears next week. :)

Kansas City @ Cincinnati -3

Chefs have given up over 400 points this season. Bengals have Right Said Ced. Future 2000 yard rusher. Or 2000 kilo pusher. Close enough.

Jacksonville @ Baltimore -11

Jagwires won't get into double digits, Ravens D scores another TD.

Tenneessee @ Indianapolis +3

Colts dogs at home?!? Titans have #1 seed wrapped up. What's wrong with this line? Halp!

Cleveland @ Pittsburgh -11

Moment of silence for the Ken Dorsey era in Cleveland. Thank you.

Miami +3 @ NY Football Jets

That rag arm bum with lesser know bums catching his rags make a mockery of the depleted Jets D.

New England @ Buffalo +5 1/2

This game will be no contest, but the Fighting Jaurons get lucky late to get within 6. Ugh.

Seattle @ Arizona -6 1/2

No Boldin, No Problem. Seahawks D gets worn down in the dome.

Washington @ San Fransisco -3

This is the site of my favorite dead show.

Denver @ San Diego -9

After Denver gave it up to Fred Freakin' Jackson at home last week, how will they do against LT and Sproles on the road?

S.D -8 refs won't screw the bolts this time as a matter of fact they help em
Eagles-1.5 Nice to see Jerry Jones get it stuck in his ass
Pats-6.5 playing for playoffs
Vikings-7 Bear fans blame the Giants for not playing their starters
Saint panthers ova 51.5
Green Bay-10.5 vs the Lions maybe your daughter should have made a better choice as a husband

Along with these two winners from earlier this week, I'll go with the following (from thegreek.com):
Tampa Bay -11.5 over Oakland
Tampa needs this game too much and Oakland has to travel cross country.

Pittsburgh -11 over Cleveland
What quarterback are the Browns trotting out there now?

Indianapolis +3 against Tennessee
Intra-division home dog.

Chicago / Houston (Under 46.5)
With Mike Brown out, the Bears defense needs to make a statement.

Louisiana Tech (-1.5) over Northern Illinois
I still want to know how Northern Illinois gets into a bowl game.

Tampa -11 over Oakland

Tampa struggling the last 3 weeks but getting Oakland at home this week should get Tampa back on track. Interesting stat, Oakland is 4-17 ATS in their final game of the year.

Over 51 Car/No

Carolina D hurting a little. Both teams easily into the mid 20's.

Miami has had a nice year but the Jets at home in the must-win is the way I will go.

Philly -1 over Dallas

Something hasn't been right in Dallas all year. Philly gets this one.

I know the Tigers are slumping, but I just don't have faith in the Wildcats going against a Big 12 team.

Missouri / Northwestern (Over 66)
A lot of offense in this game with no weather to worry about.
