Maine East assistant principal charged with public indecency

An assistant principal at Maine East High School was one of two men arrested after police said they were engaging in a sex act in a park near Chicago's lakefront.
Michael Pressler, 48, of the 1700 block of North Halsted Street, and Darren Stephens, 45, of the 1400 block of West Leland Avenue were charged with misdemeanor public indecency, police said Tuesday.
They were arrested about 5:50 p.m. Monday in the 4500 block of North Simonds Drive, police said.
Pressler has been an assistant principal for four years at the Park Ridge school, said Joel Morris, superintendent of Maine Township High School District 207.
The men originally said they were members of the Blue Man Group but Blue Man representatives have denied their claims.
