What is the deal with Scrubs being cancelled on NBC and being renewed on ABC? I don't remember a show moving channels like this.

It does happen but not often with primetime network shows. World Poker Tour, for instance, started on the Travel Channel, but then jumped to the Game Show Network. Roswell started on the WB then moved to UPN. I'm sure SHARK remembers others that have done so too.

I believe JAG went from NBC to CBS.

Family Matters & Step by Step went from ABC to CBS. It does not happen often anymore, but usually when a show switches networks, viewers dont follow it. I predict a one season run of Scrubs on ABC.

I don't know - the reruns are on an awful lot so there might be a lot of interst in new episodes. I kind of like the show.

DL Hughley's show (the name escapes me) moved from ABC to UPN...as a matter of fact, I think a few black shows moved from major networks to UPN/WB/CW......that

I never recall "Sanford & Son" moving from CBS to NBC. Anyway, the "Peacock" kept moving "Scrubs" around all the time it was on the network's schedule and fans couldn't keep up with the comedy series constantly moving! It moved enough to make everyone's head spin. NBC was also very reluctant to let the docs from Sacred Heart move over to ABC, even though the comedy was made by ABC's Touchstone Studio. For the record, those are units of the Walt Disney Company, which happens to own ABC. As far as I know, I think this is a one season deal with "Scrubs" on the alphabet network.

NANCY you have far more pressing issues to deal with here than what network Scrubs is on.

yeah it's kinda like following in the footsteps of "firefly" except "firefly" lasted less time on the air, and the movie came out pretty quick... :?

Didn't Monk move? I don't know, I don't watch Monk.

SHARK is correct. It's a one and done for Scrubs. Two good episodes last night though. Not sure what I think about Courteney Cox as the chief.

I think Monk is still on USA.
I still find Family Guy to be quite funny. Maybe I'm in the minority on that one?

I thought this was going to be the last season for "Scrubs" because Zach Graf was moving on to bigger and better things.

Brian, I think you meant Zach Braff, who starred opposite "The O.C.'s" Rachel Bilson in a film called "The Last Kiss", which flopped financially at the movies a couple years ago... I believe Zach wants to direct once he & the "Scrubs" leave the air for good. I don't know if he plans on directing a few episodes of his show, like Alan Alda did for many years in the late '70s & early '80s on "M*A*S*H" in addition to starring...

I recently read an article saying that Braff and the show's head writer/creator have both said they weren't planning on returning after this season.

She's ok, but she's only 1 person.
