This was a big mistake. I probably will just keep it on the score now. Bummer. It doesn't come in all that well here.

Dear Mr. Pastor,

All managers of any business are under pressure to create larger profit margins. Nowadays, more are under pressure to create a profit of any kind. This is a very delicate balancing act. Deciding which areas to reduce spending on and which areas to try and increase sales is what makes you ,and or I, a good or bad manager.

Your decision, to place Dan McNeils head on the chopping block, is a foreshadow to your own soon to come dismissal.

Are you aware of how delicate the scales were balanced between WSCR and ESPN in this town? With the current roster of on air personal that ESPN has, Dan Mcneil was the driving force of your station. MJH was your premiere show and brought in other listeners that might enjoy Silvy and Waddle, then tolerate Mike Tirrico to get to MJH and then stick around for The Show.

If Mitch Rosen is any kind of manager, he scoops up McNeil and buries your station to the point, you will need to answer some questions at ESPN Corporate when you deliver the lowest ratings in the last 5 years.

Sure, I like Tom Waddle, but if I am dumping salary he goes in a second. He has too many other interests to be a fan favorite on a sports talk show. Second, I would have probably got rid of Harry. Let's face it, this was always squeezing the round peg into the square opening.

I understand this was done to increase your bottom line, but I believe in the long run, your bottom will fall out and the grave mistake you made will be exposed.

Fantastic post.....Mr. Pastor will probably be at some station in Oklahoma City or Birmingham working his magic someday.

Pastor dug his own grave on this poor decision. He always been a jack bag since he got here from the "mothership." I became an ESPN 1000 listener because of Mac and I'll likely leave because of him too. Of course this "empty suit" will blame the economy like every other company does these days but the fact remains that MJH dominated the ratings for 95% of the time the show was on the air. People that aren't from Chicago have no business running a major sports radio station. Even though Chicago is a world class city, you have to be from here to really understand what its people are all about. It's a bad business decision to take the best sports show off the air and it's obvious that Pastor is the kind of guy that F up a cup of coffee.

Go back to Bristol you douche bag!!!!!
