WLS offered Blago the Noon-2 spot on Sundays if he resigns. They claim it is a way to save IL some embarrassment and money, and in exchange will give Blago a voice.

My only question would be who is listening to WLS on Sunday at noon?

No one will, hence why this is the perfect time slot. You don't even have to try to ignore him, since no one ever listens to WLS during that timeframe anyway.

Does anyone actually listen to WLS, period? If so, why?

I don't usually, but there was a lull this morning on WSCR, WIND, and ESPN, so I switched on Don and Roma. They suckered me into the "breaking station news after the 7:00 break" tease. Well, this was it. Woopee.

Me too. Not often, but periodically I tune in. Ron Magers is on w/ him at 3:00 pm everyday - sometimes a good give/take between them.

Yeah that is kinda good...caught the Majors segment when MANCOW was on and there was a very entertaining uncomfertability level
