I haven't tuned in since the first week and I decided to tune in this morning while I was eating breakfast to see what they were doing or if things had improved.

* North talking about how when Larry Hughes was with the Cavs there were two games in which he scored more points than LeBron James. Mike can't believe that Hughes is on the bench and that Thabo Sefolosha is getting more playing time than he is. I hope that in Mike's mind this doesn't mean that Hughes is better than, or at least comparable to, LeBron.

Although, Jim HarBOW was better then Troy Aikman, right?

* Coming out of a commercial break they go right to Jen for a traffic update. Before she can get two words out of her mouth, North walks right through the shot (presumably on his way back the the desk). Nice.

*Mike talking about his mom asking why he doesn't wear a shirt and tie on the show. Mike says it's not that kind of show and he never wears a shirt and tie. Hey, here's a BIG COINCIDENCE -- Jiggs has a DVD someone from ND HS sent in of Mike wearing a suit and tie at an event that took place at the gym at ND HS! WOW! We get treated to footage of Mike and the other coaches standing around the gym and Mike running along the stands high-fiving the fans.

Mike shaking his head and saying how they "got him" with that one...he didn't expect that.

Yeah, I'm sure that wasn't scripted...

*Jen is talking about the seven second delay -- it's there in case something happens, like if she has a Janet Jackson incident on camera. Mike gets excited and starts slobbering all over the place talking about Jen, CeCe, or the other pinhead having a "Janice" Jackson incident.

This all happened in about 10 or 15 minutes. Mike also managed to spend a few minutes during that time talking about how great Rosemont is, too.

I guess I didn't miss much over the last few weeks.

The highlight of the shows was when J.Hood was on during his extended time yesterday.....I actually found myself laughing with joy....but everything else has been more of the same...

Believe it or not, I tuned in to this fabulous show for a few this morning before I went to bed. Some have said here that Jen does the night before highlights. Jiggs and North did them in an obvious attempt at being entertaining as they explain the highlight and try to be funny. Has Jen already been demoted from that task or did I just happen to catch some Mike North entertainment. at its finest?!? I then switched over to the lovely Hannah Storm for the REAL highlights.

I noticed she wasn't doing sports highlites too, I guess traffic and weather is the ceiling for her. she still struggles with thinking 124 minutes is over 3 hours, so it isn't like she has mastered that quite yet.

north for sure has gone back to screaming and reusing bits that sucked on the radio, he just needs to confirm they also suck on tv I guess.

jigs looks like he wants to cry, but he signed up for this pappy shitfest.

going to watch the whole show tomorrow, so hopefully I won't bust open the beer to early.
