Last night (Monday) was the first night of his show on ESPN radio. While I'd much rather have "The Show" on, Kenny is one of the few ESPN TV guys that I actually like on radio. Then again anything's an improvement over Kuselais. Odd that possibly my 2 favorite national ESPN talk guys have come from their boxing shows, Kellerman and Kenny.

Brian Kenny is no stranger to ESPN Radio. When Dan Patrick was still working in Bristol, CT and first started hosted his own radio show, Brian was one of the many guest hosts who frequently sat in for D.P., along with the likes of Kenny Mayne, Linda Cohn, Scott Van Pelt, Mike Tirico, Karl Ravech & the Tony Kornheiser-sounding Erik Kuselias. This was before "Tirico & Van Pelt" took over the Noon-2p time slot weekdays. As for Max Kellerman, when his "I, Max" show got cancelled by FOX Sports Net, he went back to radio, and now hosts a daily local show of his own on ESPN Radio...in New York.

He's almost got a Hampton-like quality to him.
