I have bowled at Bowling Green for a long time, and could definitely set something up. I also have a ton of free game coupons, that I could hand out. Any time you bowl a game 50 pins over average in league play, you get a free game coupon. I never use them, because when I bowl at a time other than my league, I get a rate of $2 per game, because I am a league member. I usually give the free games to my wife or brother.

Chus is a RINGER!! A league member who bowls 50 pins over his average often enough to have tons of free game coupons sounds like a guy I want on my team. :lol:

Count me in wherever. Fireside bowl sounds good to me.
A preemptive "button 48", but the last time I was at Fireside I saw some punk band there and Jack McDowell was there. It was 1994, during the strike seaosn I think.

Westchester has Edens Lanes, known to the young college kids as Club E. You could play B-ball and jog about a half mile to the bowling alley.

We used to go there because the bar was open to 4 AM. When the 2 AM bars closed, we went to the Eden Lanes.

Carm bitched them out the other day... they had some sort of a discrepency in the hourly rental rate that resulted in about a forty dollar or so difference, and they went to plead their case. It's official...Irving Park Bowl will be the location for the first CSFMB Bowling Outing. The most likely date from the poll is March 14th. That will be decided at the end of this week. Vote early and change your vote as needed...

Not that it matters to this non son of eiren, but the 14th would probably have many St. Patrick's Day events to dissuade people from attending.

Time: Saturday's are apparently not busy for this alley, so they are open from 10-2PM. That sounds like the hours right there, or maybe we start at 11 am. St. Patty's day may hurt us a little but the NCAA tournament would hurt us a lot more imo, which is a major factor in the decision for the 14th. We've got 14 solid in right now and I'm sure there's more to come as the thread has only been up two or three days. Just getting the event off the ground (ala Hoops 1) is good enough for me...once it's happened once, it takes off from there (ala Hoops 2).

Carpool: Hug it out, people...

Golf: coming soon.
