Now I know why Mac isn't around anymore - apparently ESPN Corporate is controlling more and more of the programming, and discussions at ESPN1000 now. This week we'll look at "State of Sports in America".... yawnnnnn... Mac would have never cowtowed for such dicktated boredom.

And I love whenever they ask one another what they're watching tonight - Jurko's consistent - it's always hockey. Harry's consistent also - he's like Arnold fuckin' Horshack raising his hand, oohin and ahhing, and wanting to be the first guy to proclaim his love for ESPN programming that night.

Suck that teet Harry... suck it good.

Speaking of corporate teet - fellow ESPN teet sucker Jay Mariotti is now on the blower.

I'm sure Jurko's eating navel lint right now.

Oooh boy, where's Rick Telander now that Jay's gone. This is deep thinking stuff. I think I'm gonna go snap off a wrister.

I wonder if Adam Delevitte's balls have sucked up into his body cavity.

Embarrassing 'programming'.

I kinda of wish they would have stuck with the topic, some people were starting to go after them, then you here Harry says I am a fan, but I use a press pass.

In this economy, a little teet suckin' is good for the soul.

I don't even have the desire to muster up enough hate for this programming, which is even a bigger damnation. I am just apathetic to the whole thing.

I spend maybe 5 or 10 minutes a day listening to the recap to see if there was anything interesting - usually there isn't.

Boers and Bernstein are starting to grow on me - hopefully not like a fungus - by cracky.

I've tried. I can't get into B&B, can't do it. This show has its ups and downs. I still listen for a little bit every day, but my MP3 player and tape deck has been getting much more of a workout.

a good analysis. It's not for everyone, and I respect the way you put it.

I have been fully assimilated to the borg...er...B&B. I only listen to Silvy & Waddle. There really isn't much of a reason for me to listen to the Afternoon Suckfest. My hope is that Jurko & Hood get out of there when their contracts are up...

im similiar to frank...B & B crack me up sometimes...but sometimes its like "ok move on from the joke you made an hour and a half ago"

kinda like letterman for me

sometimes its golden...sometimes its garbage

its now a 3 way race for my ears with MJH B&B and Roe Conn

Its not for everyone. And I don't begrudge anybody that likes them. MJH was a far superior product, imo. Its kinda like Howard Stern. He's big time, but I don't care for him either.

I see Jurko getting out when his contract up, he is acting like he cares but when somebody called yesterday on the show and the caller says he hates when he heres guys on the radio says there fans and Jurko says he is there because he played and knows about the player and got to shower with men naked and that it is great to shower with man naked. He should have answered the way it was going, but left out the shower part.

To Jurko, he probably can't wait to leave and maybe do another show with Mac.

I also gave B&B yet another try. Results are in... big fat fail!

I'm down to listening to only 2 programs on the AM. Silwad & Dennis Miller.

Maybe to make it more understandable, Jurco is trying to show he cares by injecting some things into the show, but I think when his contract is up he will be gone.

Mully & Hanley are fine. I prefer the 8am-12 Boers & Bernstein, back when the show was fat, old, gay, weird. Boers too tame, Dan too headstrong, too much irritating drops.

An acquired taste, with less of the outright fun from the early days. Lot of that from FCC clamping down, obviously. Not too much TB Diddlers or M Jeffrey Jordan Penisland anymore.

"This isn't about 'us' or 'them'. We are A 'TEAM' and ESPN Bristol is our worldwide leader." stated Jim Pastor before a confused Pastor and autobot Justin Craig got back to nursing the corporate teet.

They call this show Carmen, Jurko , and Harry now. Hmmm.

How about---- the CARMEN DE FALCO SHOW with Jurko and Harry.

Sounds familiar from another show at another station. If Mac and Jurko and Harry were buddy-buddy, I would have loved to see Jurko and Harry stand up for Mac.....boycott, hold out , get management to try to keep their show founder on board. Now I know wife and kids are held hostage with this thing called Job Security, so I guess that would be wishful thinking. Keep the job and be spineless. Thats fine. If Mac Jurko and Harry were really just sharks at each others necks behind the scenes , my next question is even more a mystery. Mac is gone so why not take the top billing ? The Jurko, Harry and Carmen Show would be a natural. Are Jurko and Harry wussing out? I presume the pay now and/or pay later goes up with top billing. More $$$$$ is better than just being pigeonholed into 'role players'. What a great opportunity for Carmen. Oh well. Its probably a mute point --ESPN is cutting so much in costs so this probably isnt like Movie credits .

More 'branding' from ESPN:

http://featuresblogs.chicagotribune.com ... ports.html

ESPN will help finance this 'branding' initiative with money saved in May.

... and I'm sure all the 'good soldiers' left at ESPN1000 will be pimping it 24/7.

I could see Bristol putting all the local 'good soldiers' together on Internet radio from this site and making ESPN-1000 100% national feed. So much for branding.
Brace yourselves.
