During B and B, Jesse Rogers discussed Lou's comment on the Soriano leadoff situation. Jesse said that Lou talked about it earlier, because Mr. Baseball wasn't at the press conference. Jesse, you were the only guy that brought Soriano's move down the lineup. Please!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Like him or not, Jesse does a hell of a job as the baseball reporter. Much better than Professor Flakey, IMO.
I like Jesse.

Jesse is a very good reporter. He has terrible baseball thoughts but he's a very good reporter.

Jess thinks out of the box, intentionally or not, thus some good stuff comes as a result.

...and some idiotic stuff. On sunday his last wrap was about baseball needing a salary cap. Please!!! That's the LAST thing baseball needs. Jesse was saying how football and basketball both have salary caps and baseball should have one too. I don't want baseball to be like football and I certainly don't want it to be like basketball. When was the last trade made in football?? When was the last basketball trade that benefits both teams?? They match salary instead of talent. What baseball needs is a salary floor. With all the money coming in from mlb.com and the mlb network a salary floor would make the teams spend that money rather than pocketing it and crying poor. Baseball also needs to have a world-wide draft and fix free-agent compensation. Those moves would help baseball a hell of a lot more than a salary cap would.

I'm with Keyser on this. I think Jesse does a good job of reporting. The moment he starts analyzing is when he loses me. Jesse may have found the on air niche he has been desperately searching for over the past decade.

I'm having trouble keeping up with all the idiot comments made in todays show but I just heard a winner.

Jesse Rogers: 'Mark Buehrle is past his prime'

Buehrle's a 30 yr old left hander whose ERA the last 2 season was 3.63 and 3.79 and has pitched 419 innings. Buehrle is in the middle of his prime and I don't think he's forgotten how to pitch or old age has set in over the last 6 months.

I heard some of today's "Hit and Run". They entertain me. Sometimes George says something stupid. Sometimes Jesse says something stupid. Two idiots in an argument can be fun.

I really believe Offman is the dumber of the two of them.

Larry, you should try to be a weekly caller. You'd fit right in.
