Starting Monday he has the 1-4 shift on WGN. In that same online edition I also read a boring ass Steve Dahl blog. Apparently he's in some golf camp in Orlando. Both of these guys have turned into what they always hated.

Wow, nothing is more boring than Gary Meier on the radio.

Dahl is OK, just OK, with his YES army

It's nothing more than an on-air audition for Garry Meier on WGN 720 next week...When Newstalk 720 moved John Williams to morning drive, it created an opening between 1-4p weekday afternoons. That's all it is at this time.

The natural conclusion to years of making fun of WGN is to work at WGN, I guess. Still, we pull for Garry in the Curious Hair family.

I guess the last 5 attempts at him on the radio weren't enough? lol

Well, BigFan, no sooner does Garry Meier land a gig at 105.9, CBS Radio pulls the plug on "FM Talk" & WCKG, "Fresh"-ens its format and forces Garry back on the street. Too bad "Fresh FM" has already gone stale!
