Guys who play softball as adults are those who were never good enough to play baseball as a kid. Trying to re-live the youth they feel they were robbed of.

Not true at all. It is about staying young an active. If & when you stop playing...its hard to start it up again. I guess it depends what type of league you play in or whatever....but many of the teams I have played on over the years had some awesome athletes.

I'm not going to post my baseball credentials because I don't need to blubber on about my skillz - however, this statement kind of pissed me off. So do we golf on the weekends because we aren't good enough to play on the PGA? Do we play pickup basketball because we can't play in the NBA? Do we bowl with our kids because we can't be Earl Anthony?
