So since B&B got pre-empted for preseason baseball today at 3 I figured Id swing over to the Afternoon Salon and see what was going on as I haven't listened very much since Mac's departure. Kerry Sayers was guest hosting for Jurko and Harry just couldn't get over the fact that a semi attractive sports reporter was in the studio with them. I know it has been beaten to death but his jokes were extremely contrived and almost at the level of a Michael Scott thats what she said. And on top of that he was definately was giving off a creepy Julie Swika mouth breathing vibe that was extremely off putting. Barely made it 15 minutes before switching to internet music radio. Brutal.

Harry's probably the biggest Kerry Sayers fan in Chicago. It's got to bother him that Kerry's not doing sports at Comcast SportsNet anymore, let alone any of the owned & operated local news shops, or at either ESPN Radio or "The SCORE" in some capacity as an update anchor, reporter or even a host.

I haven't listened to ESPN 1000 for a second since they fired Mac but just popped on the stream to see what everyone is talking about and if it's really as bad as everyone is saying. I'm betting you all are spot on though.

i think Kerry is attractive, and did a fine job on Comcast. that being said, I'm less than impressed with her today. she has minimal noise inflection, and isn't bringing anything to the show. other than the small lump in Harry's pants. a REAL Program Director or Producer would take her chair away from her, pound a few coffees in her on the next break and remind her that she's unemployed. good looks don't translate over the radio. just google image search the Fabulous Sports Babe.

When i first saw this topic i thought Harry fell off his chair or something onto Kerry, crushing her to near death. I don't listen much anymore unless i get busy and don't switch the stream over, but then i just kill it and turn on music or the wonderful sound of silence.

I too picked up at 3pm for about a half hour. good god Harry was awful, like creepy awful. Kerry god bless her took it but god Harry, man, how can you stand yourself after today's show? Did it get worse after 3:17?

God awful.....I feel bad for Kerry as I think Slappy even turned his dream girl off today. Maybe Mac can have her on his new show....She doesn't sound comfortable as when Mac had her on . Goes to show ya the Mcneil factor in that show was a lot stronger with guests as well..

Caught a little of it during the Eddie Olyczyk segment and Harry was pretty much a goof and DRAGGED THE SHOW THRU THE MUD but Kerry sounded ok to me . As I said you have to love a women who knows her sports and can hang with the guys when it comes to talking x's and o's and Kerry does that . She even made a "jerky boys" reference and that put me over the top then. Every women I know hates the Jerkeys...

I was told she is a Red Wings fan too.......to good to be true. Mac will have her on when he get his new gig at WGCI.

Harry is terrible. He always has been but with Mac gone its more pronounced.
